happy anniversary to the great molasses flood
"God never gives you more than you can handle" is survivorship bias. People who got more than they could handle are dead.
Oh, dear. I can't reblog that fast enough.
"We've gone too far."
I'll bet the lemon stealing whore created this recipe
"Heavy on the citrus."
Yeah, I'll bet, bud.
Watched a cool video of a teenager who lost her hands as a small child demonstrating bionic hands that respond to her using the muscles in her remaining forearm.
Checked the comments to tell her how sick her hands are and how amazing it is that they’re 10k as opposed to in the US where they’re like 30k.
The comments were just a wall of people calling her a “clanker” or a “wireback”.
Like. Why. These people know that’s not funny on its own right. These people are aware this random girl is not their friend they share in jokes with right. They realize this is just being ableist when the whole robophobia “joke” is just doing discrimination. Like that is a human being who they are just calling a clanker for being disabled.
What the fuck.
Your protagonist should be a woman. And she should also be evil
Hey, if you're feeling helpless and looking for something to do about it, you should get involved with your local IWW if you can. It's a great way to organize with your community, even if you're unemployed or unable to work. The IWW emphatically believes that you are still an important part of the working class, even if you don't work a "normal" job. Regardless of employment status, we're all still affected by the ruling class, and you have a place with us.
No war but class war. An injury to one is an injury to all.
