Apparently ICE now has agents posing as utility workers to get into people’s homes. The electric and gas companies have posted information on how to tell if it’s one of their workers, and numbers to call to confirm whether they’ve sent someone to do utility work on your house.

A short antifascist reportback from Perth, Scotland yesterday

An additional reportback from the same action by some Glasgow antifascists:

Yesterday, January 10th, anti-fascists from Glasgow traveled to Perth to counter anti-migrant protesters alongside comrades from Dundee and Perth.

During this protest police allowed 30-40 fascist militants to charge the hotel, anti-fascists reacted quickly and bravely forming a strong and disciplined line against the fascists. Despite being heavily outnumbered the line held, preventing fascists from getting to the hotel doors. They did not pass.

In a predictable move, Police Scotland primarily and disproportionately targeted anti-fascists with aggression. Yet again showing that we cannot rely on the police or protest stewards to defend against fascists. Only we can keep us safe.

Ultimately we need greater numbers at future actions, and the anti-fascist movement must adopt a diversity of tactics including physical resistance.

After a week marked by negative national media coverage, more arrests and public infighting, tonight the remnants of the ‘Dundee Patriots’ - at this stage, four men and a flag - gathered for a twenty-minute selfie protest opposite accommodation housing vulnerable young people and families at Reid Square. The 'Patriots’ hadn’t publicly announced their 'protest’, and as a few of us anti-fascists watched on, we understood why - we barely had time to take a few pictures of our own before they scattered off into the night.
