  This is the album that happened as Anything Box was collapsing back into being just me (Claude S.) The fragmentation of the group was unfolding slowly, and it was SUPPOSED to be the next Anything Box album. In an effort to appease the vote that it felt more like a solo album, I decided to work on it as a solo record. The reasoning was very complex, and quite a failure on my part, to be honest.
  
  I knew in my heart that this was a de-facto Abox album, and it did not make any of the resulting events easier, nor did my naming it 'Claude' help matters. In fact, in the case of Spotify, it ruined its chances at being an Abox album as Spotify would not convert it to an Anything Box album, even though I AM Anything Box. So in the end, it felt as though 22 tracks went down the drain and a deep depression ensued. Very deep.
  
  This is a lesson learned. Anything Box must always stick to what Anything Box does.
  
  All that said, working on the album without any restrictions did cause a shift in my perspective. I felt like I was back in NJ in the 1980s, free to make up songs as they came, without a committee or fear of commercial failure if the album did not work. On top of that, it was a way to showcase the photographic side of my work. Also, it was the paintings and the art that funded the record completely, and I was able to deliver the album, and roughly 38 paintings were sold to make it what it is.
  
  This is the 2-CD set, complete with the 16-page booklet. There are not many of these left. You will note that the cover barely registers the text 'Claude' as perhaps I was subconsciously refusing it.
