Blog Closure Q&A
We’ve been getting some questions lately about the impending blog closure. Instead of answering every ask in our inbox we’re collecting the big ones here in one post.
Q: Wait, this blog is closing?
A: Yep. We first announced it abut a year ago and have been posting reminders every few months—the tag “mod post” should have most of our previous announcements. As of January 11th, 2020 we will no longer post any new tags.
Q: Why?
A: In a word, time. This blog is nearly five years old, and a lot has changed for us in five years. It’s time for us to close this particular chapter and move on.
Q: Will you keep this blog up after January 11th?
A: Yes! While there won’t be any new content, ao3tags will remain for anyone who would like to look through the archive, as it were.
Q: Couldn’t you give this blog to someone else?
A: We could, yes, but we’ve elected not to do so. We’d like to give this blog a clean ending.
Q: I’m gonna miss you :(
A: We’re gonna miss you too! If you’d like to keep up with us post-ao3tags we’re on tumblr and twitter @ eschatology2day.
