@appreciativehooting

they / them, adult; I like punctuation but assume I am using a light, jovial tone unless otherwise indicated.

I have opinions about hotel bathrooms

I have stayed in many and they all have weird quirks. These are some of the things I look for

  • Does it have a door

You may think I am joking. How can a bathroom not have a door. Well, some have a pocket or sliding door with basically no real latch on it. These suck.

  • Does the shower face the door

I don't know what kind of adult film the hotel thanks I'm going to be putting on, but I don't want the shower to be facing the door, especially when it's a glass box. There is no privacy in the bathroom anymore. They don't even use frosted glass

  • Bad mirror placement

Do you want to watch yourself pee? I don't

Crying the captions on Six's wiki page are so fucking funny why are you like this sir

Image Descriptions:

ID: The Sixth Doctor, a character from the TV show Doctor Who. He's a middle aged man with curly blonde hair and a rainbow coat. He is smugly smiling. The caption below the image reads "the Doctor enjoys being proven right" End ID

ID Two: The Sixth Doctor from Doctor Who again. This time he stands in a room wearing a white shirt and green tie. He looks at something to his side off screen, appearing slightly puzzled but overall not concerned. The caption below reads "the Doctor barely reacts to two men's deaths" END ID

ID Three: The Sixth Doctor grins very in a menacing way as if plotting something. The caption below reads "The Doctor delights in ruining his enemy's plans" END ID

Edit: added alt text but I'm not very good at it, if you see anything wrong let me know

The duality of man is thinking “children cannot help themselves and we all need to be patient with them as they explore what it means to be human in public” and also “damn, I wish this crying baby was not on the plane rn :/“

Just as courage is not the absence of fear but doing the brave thing in spite of it, patience is not the absence of irritation but doing the kind thing in spite of it.

update on my latest knitting project…

colorwork in stockinette is so evil but hopefully it will be worth it? i WILL be learning to steek before i knit another vest though

the long awaited update: i finished it! for notes and things, you can see the project on ravelry here!

and thanks so much to everyone being so nice about this project in the notes!! y’all have motivated me to finally get this vest done 😅

Okay so I did it, first I measured out 6.8 teaspoons of water

Then I added 3.5 teaspoons of sugar

Then heated it up and added three tea bags and let them set

Then I measured out and added 10.7 teaspoons of edible glitter

It didn’t really act like a solid or a liquid but it had the consistency of peanut butter when eaten, it definitely tastes like tea

I added the final product to a gallon of sweet tea to dilute it so the glitter isn’t wasted

Since I’m realizing not everyone knows about the tea, this is its creation

you can open mspaint and crudely draw the most fucked up uneven line and it'll be worth more love and support and awe than any genai piece of shit out there

hello there! we're kris (they/them) and we made this blog so nonbinary people can share and discuss their positive experiences :D

bigotry or hatred of any kind will be deleted and not acknowledged.

asks will be added to queue unless we screw up.

please let us know if we say anything incorrect!

nonbinary joy is positive experiences everyone under the nonbinary umbrella (genderqueer, bigender, demigender, etc.)

I don’t like specific lists of things to accomplish in a year so I don’t vibe with make9s or long term project planning BUT I do love checking off squares and marking off things I did so I’m trying bingo.

No specific patterns or designs, theoretically fiber craft agnostic, hopefully a good mix of being encouraged to try new things without being overly prescriptive about it.

Please play along if you’d like. Interpret the entries in whatever way makes this process most enjoyable for you.

#fiber arts bingo <- tag that I will be tracking

i was thinking about making a post with photos of all the socks i made this year, but i'm out of town and forgot to take photos of most of them and also have given several away, so instead here's a photo of one pair i made in like may and just imagine like 8 other pairs scattered around my house

this year i started from 0 and learned how to knit plain socks so in 2026 my goal is to learn different kinds of stitches and patterns, like maybe cables or something to jazz up my collection!!
