I have used PowerPoint presentations throughout my life as an educator. Microsoft has consistently updated and upgraded features and templates which make it very easy to create professional content quickly in very attractive formats that include embedded videos and music. Additionally, the phone app is easy to use so that I can take my work anywhere and create on the fly. It is still one of the best media to make impactful presentations in person or by sharing them virtually.
It is much easier to use PowerPoint on the telephone. I mean the iPhone or then it is on the computer so make the computer little user-friendly too because if he was just running and running and running and going crazy much much easier on the iPhone.
I really enjoy what I can do with this app, but sometimes it lags. I also lose some options to create different styles from time to time. I do really like the feature to hold my finger on a word, and it becomes a laser pointer for my audience. Overall, it is very good. Fix those few issue, and we have ourselves an excellent PowerPoint.
However, with new iOS updates on iPhones and iPads, the design has changed drastically. I give it 12 or 12 then 10 out of 10, which is far more better than the other.
I’m really loving PowerPoint. It gives me a way to take my thoughts and turn them into videos that I can easily share across media platforms, and that alone has been a game changer for me. I can create visual stories without needing complicated tools or extra software. What I really appreciate is how versatile it is. I’ve used it not just for traditional presentations, but also for things like documenting floor plans and highlighting individual items. As a teacher, I had to document my classroom setup, and being able to clearly show six or seven different class setups visually was a huge advantage. It made everything easier to explain and share.Of course, the classic PowerPoint-to-movie option is still perfect and works exactly how you’d expect, but using it on my phone has been the biggest surprise. I love being able to create on the go without needing a big processor or sitting at a computer. That flexibility makes it feel modern, practical, and accessible.Overall, PowerPoint has become more than just a presentation tool for me. It’s a creative space where I can organize ideas, tell visual stories, and create content easily, whether I’m teaching, planning, or posting online.
I bought this for med school and during my lecture periods I have been adding my notes to this app. It is on autosave so I expect my notes to be saved. They were saved when I looked yesterday but looking after my lunch break I am seeing that none of my notes from the last 3 days are here, including the ones I took just this morning. Very upsetting and hindering to my studying.
