Z1 MyCrypt is NOT a standalone application.
Z1 MyCrypt is an email client for Z1 server products from Zertificon, which additionally allows you to securely send large email attachments. In order to use the security features of this app, a licensed Z1 server product is necessary – this needs to be purchased separately.
Together with Z1 SecureMail End2End, Z1 MyCrypt enables user friendly end-to-end encryption. By using organizational End2End it provides instant end-to-end email encryption with external business partners. With a Z1 SecureHub license, encrypted secure large file transfer is also possible directly from the app.
Note:
The recipient does not need any Z1 Software to exchange secure mails with a Z1 user.

Email encryption / signature:
- End-to-end encryption of internal company emails with S/MIME encryption
- Organizational end-to-end encryption with gateway re-encryption (S/MIME, OpenPGP, password etc.)
- Automatic search for email recipient certificates in connection with Z1 SecureMail End2End
- Encryption of outbound messages as well as decryption of inbound messages via Z1 SecureMail Gateway
- Follows security policies stored in Z1 SecureMail Gateway
- Automatic display of the recipient’s security status info on entering recipient’s email address via Z1 SecureMail End2End
- Inbox shows the encryption/signature/attachment status of each received email
- Detailed status info about signature and encryption (validation status, date-time, certificate etc.)
Enhanced security:
- Encrypted email messages are only decrypted when displayed on screen
- Set passcode to restrict access to the app
