Introducing The Terror Aro-Ace Week 2026!

Hi all! Been wanting to do this for a while, so even though I'm running @the-terror-rarepair-month during February, I wanted to run an aro-ace week as well which will take place February 16th to February 22nd during aro-ace awareness week!

What's aro/ace, aspec, all that? Here's some very basic wiki pages on Aromanticism and Asexuality. If you want to learn more, I encourage you to do your own research!

This event is geared towards aspec (aro-ace spectrum) fans or those questioning if they're aspec to celebrate aspecness through the Terror, though you are by all means invited to join even if you're not aspec! You are encouraged to share favorite aro/ace fanworks; create aro/ace fanworks; make posts about aro/aceness of characters or how you as an aspec person relate to characters; etc.

Some general rules as follows:
—no AI generated anything
—shipping, romance, and nsfw topics are all allowed so long as the fanwork focuses on aspec content / explores it from an aspec lens
—alloromantic/allosexual relationships (ie non-aspec relationships) are allowed so long as they're not the focus—this is for aro/ace fanworks and fans!
—anyone is allowed to join regardless of sexuality/romantic attraction!

More info, including prompts, to come! Mod is @k1ll3r-k4rg0, and I'm also aro-ace. This type of topic is super important to me, and it's a big focus in a lot of my fics, even if not explicitly mentioned, so I wanted to provide a space for it for fellow aspecs to gather and discuss!!

the only thing i love more than The Character dying horribly is making The Character gain weight as a way of healing. it's no secret that i am a fan of fat, hairy men, and i'm pleased to share with you think twice by potato_leader, a solittle fic with The Character gaining weight instead of dying horribly. that said, i always love a post-rescue fic where Little is a homemaker and Tozer does some sort of physical labor, that's my guilty pleasure instead of, like, coffee shop AUs. i'm such a big fan of them in these gentle post-rescue AUs in general.
