Thinking about a superhero AU...

I've been itching to make a superhero au for LU so long. Think FMA:B meets MHA if any of y'all are familiar. It would be sorta modern fantasy. Here's what I got so far without getting into spoiler territory:


Sky is the number one hero in Lorule--a country just south of its neighboring power, Hyrule. Sky is originally from Skyloft: the largest of the floating islands. He grew up there, but when he turned ten, the Association took note of his powers and swooped him off to work for them. Sky hasn't returned since. Now he's the face of the Association. The Blessed Hero.

The rest of the Links (except for Hyrule) have made their way to the Association through various means. Most were picked up from their hometown/cities. They work with Sky, making up the team: The Chain.

Together, under the direction of the Association, they fight against the Yiga, a terrorist group (who seem strangely passionate about... something,) and the malice-infused monsters, Blights, that have been popping up around the world.

But there's more going under the surface. Sky is hiding something. The rest of The Chain are having strange dreams--flashes of lives in different worlds. The Yiga are growing desperate. For what, the heroes have no idea. Well... Sky knows. But he can't say.
