I made a stupid comic based on a conversation I had my brother about little Stanley Pines. He definitely worked at the pawn shop but like, there was a whole other business in the Pines Family that Stanley would excel at

I remember seeing this idea somewhere that using the memory gun on someone leaves a scar on them, so I imagined Stanley having a big one on his face from his sacrifice

Does it make sense? Probably not but idc I just think it looks cool, although it would probably make it kinda hard for Ford to look at him sometimes

I had a dream a while ago that I was walking down a winding road in a forest in the middle of the night and there were several signs along the road. One of them had a picture of Dr house on it and it said “are you gay” and there were two buttons underneath labeled yes and no. And if you pressed the yes button a fire hose would spray at you

all those posts that are like 'wilson is just as off his fucking rocker as house' are RIGHT and they need to say it LOUDER because why was wilson's solution to pull house out of a suspected grief spiral to pretend to play a mind game while pretending to secretly playing a different mind, which in turn was another mind game designed to engage and distract his boybestfriend by giving him a little puzzle . and then it WORKED . thats not a normal thing to do

Thinking about how House knew before anyone else how important it was to find out who's dying and why after the bus crash, how uncharacteristically frantic he was. How he tore himself apart to the point of dying multiple times to find his missing memories. How he submerged himself in water and darkness despite his past trauma. How he demanded he shoot electricity into his head on top of his traumatic brain injury to try and find what he was missing, even when he ostensibly had figured it out, his brain literally bleeding out of his ears.

I'm thinking of, "what's my necklace made of?" And his immediate response of "resin" despite already asking what bug was trapped in its depths, something that is well known to happen in amber.

I'm thinking of, a couple episodes before, "You'll tell her, she's your girlfriend. You should tell her."

"You're my friend."

[Sadly] "It's not the same."

"Don't sulk."

[Still sadly] "Where am I wrong?"

I'm thinking of, "You think I should risk my life...to save Amber's?" And Wilson's shaky nod. His scoff because he knows that if the situation was reversed he would never ask Amber to do that for House. Even if she insisted, he would stop her. Where was he wrong? Its not the same. Was House finding out how she got on that bus with him worth the risk? Looking for clues to see what was causing her decline? Or was it about whether House had fucked her? Was he already undeserving of Wilson's love, and therefore the electrical probe in his brain, his tears running down his face, eventually sliding into a coma - was what he deserved? An eye for an eye, a cruelty for a cruelty, in Wilson's eyes?

I'm thinking most of all, of how Amber and House, bare feet side by side on a liminal bus between life and death, are discussing how House would rather be dead than have Wilson hate him, and Amber's acknowledgment that he would hate him, but that he still should get off the bus.

And how when House opens his eyes, having chosen life, despite what he knew awaited him, Cuddy's hand in his, offering absolution even when asleep, absolution that is not hers to give, meets Wilson's eyes and sees the truth. That he too wishes House was dead rather than have to hate him, but he's left without a choice.

I'm thinking about what's left of a life when both you and the love of your life wishes you were dead instead of someone he loved more.

I love how House MD episodes have these side plots where House is examining these random patients and every time it's some stupid shit, like yeah there's a patient with this extremely complicated case and we need to figure out a diagnosis but we can't ignore the guy with AN MP3 PLAYER UP HIS ASS in Exam Room One

I’m going to point out that this sounds like the system working as intended bc if your dog is actually currently in a bag its not going to like, run off and bother other passengers or piss/shit where is not supposed to.

Like, yep. This works. If your dog’s well behaved enough to stay in a bag, THAT’s when it’s allowed on the subway.

That last comment was my EXACT thought.

This is actually one of the most effective kinds of laws, because it tricks people into complying with the spirit of the law by making them think theyre rebelling against the letter of the law.
