I rarely use tumblr unless it’s to repost my indie project no one cares about but I forgot that this is how a lot of people connect with fandom spaces and I could totally dump my fanworks here.

I don’t usually publicly talk abt my heta interest bc I’ve got a big history special interest so I always redo the characters in my headcanons which makes them a bit older and crustier usually and ALWAYS with lore accurate uniforms.

If you’re curious, it’s Arthur in a ww2 Royal Airforce Uniform, François in a ww2 French naval uniform, Ivan in a ww2 Soviet Infantry officer’s uniform and Alfred in a ww2 American combat engineer uniform.

I see people in my life be so confused as to why Europe has less drunk driving than the US does even though a lot of European countries have higher rates of alcohol use than we do and like buddy. It’s because drunk Europeans can get home without a car.

When there’s no designated driver in the US your options are hire an expensive cab or uber, walk ten miles on the side of a highway, or drive home drunk.

Europeans can just walk. Or take a tram. Or drunkenly ride a bike. They have pubs under every trash bin. They have usable buses. Even if they’re ruining their livers they at least won’t have to die in a car crash about it.

every Porsche vehicle in Russia stopped working, for reasons that are unclear but apparently related to their anti-theft satellite connection, and I need everyone to understand that this is bad.

it's bad if this was intentional and a company can just decide to brick your car remotely whenever they like. it's bad if this was accidental and your car needs a constant connection to a satellite or it stops functioning.

it's bad even though it's Porsche because if they can do it to rich people with luxury cars they can do it to anyone. it's bad even though it's Russia because a) not every Russian is responsible for the acts of the Russian government and b) if they can do it in Russia they can do it anywhere.

this is not a "lol Russia get pwned" moment, this is another example of corporations ending the concept of ownership.

Every day I am radicalized.

i will always prefer cars from before 2015 for this reason i just dont trust new vehicles to work on their own and same with ANY form of transport tbh no company should have THIS much power over anything or anyone
