Fanfiction exists for TWO reasons:
- Dealing with complex thoughts and emotions I can't work through in therapy, like grief, despair, a complicated relationship with pain and addiction
- Seeing the same characters fuck over amd over again

I keep thinking about 20 year old Yuder, who's wanderlust made him dream for a new opportunity outside of his 20 year long forest home. 20 year old Yuder who was too socially unprepared to talk to Gakane who approached him first and turned down any opportunity to make friends. 20 year old Yuder who was upset that people made fun of him for being unable to wield a sword and decided to train till his hands bled. 20 year old Yuder who had his first ever crush but didn't know what to do with the feelings he couldn't identify. 20 year old Yuder who didn't know how to deal with bullies properly and instead chose violence and his short fuse to break them down. 20 year old Yuder who didn't know anything about the person he loved, and why he let Kishiar cling to him despite their twisted relationship. 21 year old Yuder who kept on trying to reach out to Kishiar, but still chose not to ask anymore questions because his pride was hurt. 21 year old Yuder who was Calvary captain but still mistakenly called Kishiar "Commander". And 22 year old Yuder old who was emotionally uninvested in killing Kishiar, too overwhelmed to seal the deal, but was given no choice.
For a boy who barely entered adulthood, the dream of a new opportunity in life outside of his hometown had been crushed far too easily by the reality and cruelty of people. I find that Yuder clinging to Kishiar despite his apparent mistreatment was not only because Yuder loved him, but because Yuder had no one else on his side. At least for the peaceful time they had together, Yuder had a mentor, a person he was growing to like, and perhaps even a friend in Kishiar. After the manifestation incident, all of that was taken away from him. The bullying and rumors also had no helping hand in Yuder's distrust in people. After Kishiar's death, Yuder's emotions died alongside him.
That's why even as current Yuder is around 32 years old mentally, I find his emotional state to be still at 20 years old. In this life, he finally has a chance to understand what his emotions are and experience what normal life should've been like for him; making friends, spending time with people, eating delicious food, receiving gifts, giving gifts, investing in his hobbies, discovering new emotions, and understanding what was hidden inside him this whole time: his capacity to love. Yuder always had the capacity to love and care. The toils of scars and time had merely wore it down. Whether it be friends, colleagues, aquantinces, or Kishiar himself, Yuder has so much love and care to give now that he has finally understood how to receive. The 20 year old inside him finally has a chance to grow up.

I often think Yuder is not perceived as handsome because the story is told from his point of view. Anybody can tell Yuder is sooo fine at first glance. Yes, he inspires fear, frequently compared to a black demon, but that's when he purposely fights an enemy, or tries to get information out of him. The scariest Yuder most have been to me is when he interrogated a southern woman from the star of Nagran (sorry I don't remember the chapter), keeping a menacing and unwavering look over her, making her anxious afraid.
But to me, he still managed to surpass it with his attractiveness. If I were any of the Cavalry members accompanying him I could not have taken my eyes off him. His cool demeanor and stoic expression, his cold gaze and dark hair, his pale skin and lean, tall, toned physique.
I might have caught Kishiar's yapping condition, when you can't stop talking about Yuder Aile when the occasion presents itself.
I want more Kishiar's pov to do justice for this man. Kishiar's pov is so rich, filled with so many details about his beloved assistant. Don't get me wrong, Yuder’s is awesome, it's just I need someone to appreciate Yuder in every way and that someone is Kishiar. Let's hope Kuyu can give us in the future some chapters written in his perspective. This are some I wish for:

I LOVE Kishiar but i gotta admit 1tl Kishiar was toooo naive to think Yuder didn´t care much about him, thus he wouldn´t mind that much if he had to kill him cause it was the Emperor's order.

How could KILLING A PERSON, especially you, he being a 20 year old innocent boy not affect Yuder or anybody really?????

ALIEN STAGE HIGHSCHOOL AU?
This is just a analysis, i could and probably am wrong on a lot of things but i just wanted to share my opinion.
(Also please don't mind Olisunvia in the corner, she's a great youtuber and you guys should definitely watch her sometime!!)
First let's see what we can see in the caption, this possible alternative universe in alien stage is releasing somewhere in june (GAY!!!) the name that was used is ■■■■ stage, this is NOT ORV why are we censoring words</3 but I think this could maybe be like a stage play? A theater thing, and au in which the main cast are just students and alnst was a theater show. Now im just going to throw around random stuff I saw, who do we see? With every person I will give the short analysis of what i can see and what the it might mean
Hyuna- We can only see her face in this art piece, maybe this could mean that she is the main character in this au, we can also see her looking back at till. If we are going the route that Hyun woo also died in this au, and that Hyuna started to see Till as her younger brother, which is (if I remember correctly) also something canonically proven, Till is pretty similar in personality. She is also wearing the guy's uniform, maybe a sign that she doesn't follow traditional roles, or that she's just a badass that everyone adores. In relation with Luka, they are very from away from another, on opposite sides of the hall, maybe showing how they in every universe will be on opposite sides of the war, they could never truly be together and walk side by side.
Luka-i actually have nothing to say about him accept for the fact he's wearing a purple jacket ish thing. And for him counts the same ending text I had with Hyuna.
Acorn- we can see that he's completely separated from the other 6, this is because he never 'truly' belonged in this group, he's just calmly walking looking ahead of him, maybe looking at Marty(last block of text) who is walking in front of him, signaling that he has moved on.
Till- Till is the only one who has his name on his backpack, in the scars comic we see him scratching that name tag off him, maybe this Till has problems with his identity? We also see that he's listening to music showing that even in this world his love for music never stopped. He's also in the back of the group, which could represent the fact that he was always the one who was "slacking" the one who was behind. Also he's standing exactly behind Mizi, maybe he still has eyes for her in this au?? Hope not.
Ivan- For Ivan I have 2 theory's. 1, Ivan is learning to love himself in this au, his eyes are glued to the screen looking at a picture, this could be his camera, he might be learning to love his body, learning his image. The other theory is that he's looking at a picture of till, showing he still has this fascination/ obsession With Till.
Mizi- she's walking ahead of the main six, just as she was in the main universe. In my eyes she seems confident in the way she's walking, she walks as if she has a purpose.
Sua- Sua is walking behind mizi, but these 2 are holding hands, showing that they are still in love with one another, but there still is this odd distance, they aren't walking together, one of them has to always be ahead of the other. One has to succeed between them.
And we see the legs of 2 other people, I say that the girl could be the girl from round 5, as for the boy i have 2 ideas it could be Hyun woo, and that he didn't die, or since this person is in front of Acorn, it could be Marty.
Guess who my two favorite characters are guys
