when boy bands sing a love song addressed to the listener does that imply all 5-10 of them are in love with you at once. that seems like a lot of pressure i don't know if i want to be the nucleus of the boyband polycule.

I used the phrase "waiting on tenterhooks" and then thought "what the hell is a tenterhook".

It's these things! So when you're waiting on tenterhooks, you're stretched tight like a piece of cloth. Very evocative, now that I know what it means.

I know that at this point it is an old topic but it grinds my gears so much when people refer to the Sunshine court trilogy as “Jean’s trilogy” like Jeremy’s pov is not half of the these books?

I see it allll the time like “Neil’s books, Jean’s books and then Kevin’s duology” and always do a double take bc at this points there is only 3 (!) povs and it is not fucking Kevin’s.

And I know that according to some polls Jeremy is like barely more popular in the fandom than Aaron but apparently so much so that he even gets erased from his own trilogy where half of the books are from his point of view!

It just seems like part of the trend where Jean is somehow accepted as one of the OG characters, one of the Foxes and so his perspective is valid and important and actually the only one that matters. And the whole trilogy becomes about his journey despite the fact that Jeremy’s takes roughly the same amount of space on page but he is not like the OG characters so it just gets ignored

Anyway, gonna start calling it Jeremy’s trilogy from now on
