My Twins really enjoy playing with shapes that they can create scenes with. I started by laminating cello sheets and cutting some shapes from them. I cut ones that would look like ponds or water, trees, grass, a sun and it's rays, and I cut some clouds from some plain vibrant white printer paper. Love this book. The children love bugs. So I laminated tissue paper in the shape of the grass from the book. Then added bugs and other creatures that are found in the book. As the week progressed I added fact books about some of the creatures.
