i dont think KNow Your Meme gets enough credit for how seriously they archive information. i use them as a historical research source constantly. i personally have never found any false information on their site, im sure they make mistakes and i just havent personally seen any because i havent happened to be well-versed in the particular event where the error was made, but the format of their research is extremely citation-heavy. this has been especially true of how they link to tumblr posts that originated memes etc. no one else is keeping track of this information in this way

wait. how would minecraft flower language work. would it take into account the effects the flower gives you when you make it into suspicious stew? a cornflower could mean "good luck" because it gives you jump boost, and the jump boost potion is made of a rabbit's foot, which is often seen as a lucky charm. maybe an oxeye daisy could mean something like "my love for you is (re)kindling" because it gives regeneration. lily of the valley would be seen as an insult because it gives poison. you know?

wither roses, azure bluets, open eyeblossoms, closed eyeblossoms and tulips would be bad omens or insults too. because tulips make weakness stews, azure bluets and open eyeblossoms make blindness stews, closed eyeblossoms make nausea, and wither roses... well, they give you withering when you stand in them and when made into a stew.

meanwhile blue orchids and dandelions give you saturation, and alliums give fire resistance, so they could be meant as a compliment or given to mean you have the strength you need to get through something
