Catholic in the most autistic way possible imo

WHO MADE MAN'S MIND?! 🗣 Sacred Heart of Jesus Devotee ❤️‍🔥

When it comes to spiritually healing, you may think new age spells and incantations don't come with spiritual attacks.

Does voodoo and ebay witchcraft (let's be honest, if you pay for anything spiritual, you might as well start buying salvation) have you in a spiritual chokehold? Did any of your friends curse the front door of your home? Have you been wasting time tracking the constellations to get that job? Do you have 10 different contingency plans to make sure your will works out? Gotta knock on wood to keep the jinx away? Convinced that, if God is so good, why doesn't He stop evil Himself (only to participate in evil and be unknowingly covered by His grace)? 😖

If you or a loved one relates to any of these symptoms and activities, you may be under a lie faceted by the devil! 😨😨😨!

According to the Holy Bible, you may be eligible for compensation when you don't get that healing and you end up getting worse. ☺️

Joel 2:25

And I will repay you for the years which the locust, and the beetle, and the mildew, and the caterpillar consumed: my great strength which I sent upon you.

Here in Catholicism, our faith is set on a rock, that is, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To qualify, you need to: confess that Jesus the Christ of Nazareth is God, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, died in your place, and rose again on the third day, so that you may have the gift of His kingdom, forever AND ever. 😇🥳

Take this, weary spiritual travellers, your free gift of salvation, brought to you 🫵 by our Lord and Savior, Jesus. The Christ. Of Nazareth. 🤗

⚔️Here's your sword against the devil ⚔️

Deuteronomy 31:8

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged.”

Luke 17:6

But the Lord said: "If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you may say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted, and be transplanted into the sea.' And it would obey you.

Isaiah 49:15

Can a woman forget her infant, so as not to take pity on the child of her womb? But even if she would forget, still I [the Lord] shall never forget you.

Psalm 30:15-16

But I have hoped in you, O Lord. I said, "You are my God."

My fate is in your hands. Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who are persecuting me.

Psalm 23:4

Though I walk through the valley of shadow and death, I will fear no evil for You are with me

Joshua 1:9

Behold, I am instructing you. Be strengthened, and be steadfast. Do not dread, and do not fear. For the Lord your God is with you in all things, wherever you may go."

I'm trying to make Catholicism cohesive, short and sweet while the world still spins.

why does viva la vida by coldplay always go so hard. i hear those opening strings and instantly im a cynical and mournful king walking through his overthrown kingdom like oh shit I totally did used to rule the world!!! I used to roll the dice and feel the fear in my enemies’ eyes but now im literally sweeping the streets I used to roam!!!! idk what it is about this song but for some reason i can’t explain

hey @that-catholic-shinobi why did you make me realize for the first time why that song hits me the way it does

Ngl i didn’t realize this either until I said it and reblogged it however it makes sense.

The soul is aware of the fallen nature of man and mourns for its lost inheritance until it is reclaimed

Did you guys hear about that guy that died on the cross for you and your sins?

Luke 24:15-18

[15] And it happened that, while they were speculating and questioning within themselves, Jesus himself, drawing near, traveled with them.

[16] But their eyes were restrained, so that they would not recognize him.

[17] And he said to them, "What are these words, which you are discussing with one another, as you walk and are sad?"

[18] And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, responded by saying to him, "Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?"

they need to invent clubbing for boring sober people who don't like loud music or crowded group dancing. what's the "she should be at the club" for this hypothetical not-me demographic.

roundup of various common suggestions in the notes:

  • "the library": a nice space to hang, granted, but not really the same fun social vibes.
  • "the night-library that serves pink drinks and tea": okay okay, now we're cooking.
  • "coffee shop": a bit more social and rambunctious than the average library, but still too plain imo.
  • "the museum": still a tad too formal I feel like but definitely not opposed.
  • "the book club": again, not opposed, but book clubs do have the catch of requiring you to plan ahead and do some homework to really enjoy it, not a very "I'm bored on a friday and want to go do something fun" activity.
  • "wine tasting":
  • "dnd/ttrpg nights": unfortunately I'm stupid and am bad at these games. I mean unfortunately these hypothetical people are stupid and bad at these games.
  • "arcades with cover fees at the door and then free games": won't even lie this sounds killer, gonna see if they have any of those in my area.
  • "babe the club is wherever you feel confident in yourself, life is a club and I’m just chilling at a bus stop": beautiful. poetic. heart warming. she should be at the bus stop.

first good suggestion on this post in years, FINALLY true equality

One day in my life I want to host that sort of house gathering fancy and educated people used to do back then. I think they're called soirées? Like I'd have the piano opened for anyone who wants to play or sing, a table for the people who want to play board or card games, small circles of conversation, someone would bring their writings to share, someone would paint, we'd have food, we could put the babies sleeping in one of the rooms, the kids would be playing in the middle of it all and I'd walk around to appreciate the company of all the interesting people I collected like pokemons. One day I'll do it

Like can you just imagine being a young man so zealous to serve God that you decide to make it your life's mission to destroy the legacy of a dead blasphemer and every one of his heretic followers, terrorizing them to the last man and woman, and then they have the gall to carry on in the towns you drove them to, so you vow to bring your witch hunt all over the world if that's what needs to happen, and then on the way you're suddenly surrounded with light brighter than the sun, and at the centre of that light is a Man, and He calls you by name, and you just know that He has the power to eviscerate you to ash, "Who are You Lord?" and then the living nuclear explosion tells you that He is the very one you have vehemently despised as a blasphemer, a dead one at that, but He's not dead, He's very much standing in front of you and He can only be the Son of God Himself, and you have killed and imprisoned and uprooted so many of His disciples, what will He do to you??? What awful divine vengeance will God wreak on the foremost of sinners, His enemy? He simply says, "Stop resisting Me, get up, I will tell you what to do." So you get up, struck stone blind and wondering what awful punishment awaits you, and you fast as you wait to see what Jesus, whom you have been persecuting, whose sheep you have been slaughtering, will do. And then?? One of those sheep you were on your way to slaughter comes to you! He prays for you in the name of Jesus Christ, he lays his hands on you and prays for your eyes to be opened, and they are!! What words could possibly come out of your mouth next but "baptize me"? What other response could you have to such love, mercy, forgiveness, hope, grace? That the chief of sinners would be met by the One he fought against as his bitterest enemy, not with reciprocated hatred and revenge, but love brighter than the sun and bigger than the universe, and the desire to redeem him, reward him, use him for God's kingdom, so that the eyes of many could be likewise opened? Oh my goodness
