every chapter of Alice in wonderland

Title: THE STUPID THING

“Let’s do the stupid thing,” said the Stupid Asshole, “and do it stupidly.”

Alice asked, “Why must you do the stupid thing?”

And furthermore; she added “You see, it is quite stupid, and I would not like to see a stupid thing being done; or worse, be made to do it alongside you. That’d be the most stupidest.” Alice was sure ‘most stupidest’ wasn’t grammatically correct, but she had had such a long day and this was so stupid she didn’t even bother to correct herself.

The Stupid Asshole looked long and good at Alice with his brow furrowed Victorianly, and spat, “Shut the fuck up.”

A reminder that sell-buy dates or best-used-by dates are not the same as expiration dates.

I love that a food bank is providing this info as they are experts in stretching food budgets and knowledgable in shelf-stable food items

The website puts a link to the USDA site which links to foodsafety dot gov who really wants you to use the app, but you can bypass it.

Also a link to the Canadian government's advisory on best-before dates.

Both sites have links to pages that get more into food storage.

As it is food drive season I'd like to remind people that while food might be edible past these dates, food banks and food pantries will not use food past those dates, so please don't waste their time by donating things they will not use

internet politics and real-world politics have gotten so separated, and pretty soon all this internet weirdness is gonna come crashing into real life and politicians are gonna start throwing around words like “SJW” and “anime communist” and “dark enlightenment” and it’s just gonna be the most ridiculous fucking thing
