日本の開発者へのエール、HTML5標準化貢献への期待を語る～W3C Developer Meetup - Tokyo 2013レポート

導入 W3C（World Wide Conthothium）の海外中心メンバーと日本人Web開発者の交流イベント「W3C Developer Meetup - Tokyo 2013」が2013年6月8日に都内で開催されました。その中で、「Japanese developers contributing to W3C standards（日本のWeb開発者がW3Cの標準化にどう貢献していけるか？）」と題したパネルセッションでは、熱い議論が交わされました。パネラーは国内外の著名人による大変豪華な顔ぶれ。それぞれの意見や提案はとても貴重なものばかりでした。本稿ではその模様をお伝えします。筆者は日ごろの業務でW3Cの標準化活動にかかわりつつ、HTML5コミュニティ（html5j）を運営しています。そして、その活動を通じWeb開発者のアクティビティの高さや力を肌で感じています。その力を、Web
