The Raspberry Pi 2 is the successor to the Raspberry Pi. It builds upon the original model B+ upgrading to 1 GB of RAM, and replacing the aged ARMv6 single-core with an ARMv7 Cortex-A7 quad-core. The Raspberry Pi 2 measures 85.60mm x 53.98mm x 17mm, with a little overlap for the SD card and connectors which project over the edges. The SoC is a Broadcom BCM2836.
