hello  everypony!  i’m  back  on  my  laptop  after  an…  interesting  couple  of  days.  i’ve  seen  the  messages  in  my  inbox  asking  about  what  happened.  i’m  not  going  to  publish  them  all  because…  i  don’t  want  to,  but  i  do  want  to  address  a  few  things.

  • my  intention  in  talking  to  mollyrpt  was  never  to  stir  drama  or  add  to  it.  i’m  not  part  of  the  “t”  in  rpt.  i’m  here  to  write,  be  silly,  and  have  fun.  i  don’t  care  about  the  “politics”  of  it  all  (probably  not  the  best  word,  but  you  get  what  i  mean).  i  genuinely  believe  that  if  something  goes  wrong,  there  should  be  space  to  talk  about  it  and  work  through  it.  a  lot  of  the  time  when  people  say  “you  should  just  apologize,”  what  they  really  mean  is  “give  up  and  leave  the  rpc.”  neither  red  nor  i  were  willing  to  do  that.  we  did  make  a  mistake,  but  it  was  an  innocent  one,  and  it  became  clear  over  time  that  this  was  never  actually  about  apologies  -  it  was  about  trying  to  bully  us  into  submission.
  • i  don’t  respect  either  rpt  involved  enough  to  care  about  their  opinions  of  me,  my  group,  or  my  friends.  i  truly  do  not  care  about  the  drama  baggage  that  comes  with  them.  as  i’ve  said,  i’m  not  part  of  the  “t”  in  rpt,  and  if  the  general  consensus  about  their  character  is  already…  yucky,  then  i  don’t  really  have  anything  more  to  add.
  • none  of  this  will  be  addressed  on  icehype  or  when  ice  burns  goes  public.  you're  tired  of  hearing  it,  lol.

most  importantly,  all  the  positive  messages  have  been  not  only  encouraging  but  reassuring.  i  know  i  won't  be  posting  any  of  the  messages  but  i  still  want  to  express  my  gratitude.  thanks  and  sorry  for  all  the  nonsense  over  the  course  of  the  past  several  days.  i  hope  you  all  have  a  great  rest  of  your  week  and…tomorrow  we  will  post  an  update  on  icehype  :)

can i honestly say that i think the reason they're targeting icehype specifically is bc theyre mad its double spaced and formatted and people aren't making a fuss about it? these people have nothing else to do and no real gripe with anything and for a while they've been trying to make an issue out of double spacing (to the point of calling rps ableist esp when they themselves do not fucking join group rps lmao. one of them wanting to open an queer rp that bans double spacing which is like ok. lack of actual plot aside do it whos stopping you lmao) i understand issues with accessibility but i also understand you can go about things differently and also that sometimes you just don't need to join every rp. neither of them was ever gonna join icehype and if they were, they look fucking weird doing all this when they could've come to the main about it. i've x'd out on rps for much less.

i genuinely thought there was concerns about misogyny or lack of representation. but i think in the last couple of hours (and in my conversation) i think it’s quite clear that this was never the case with these two.
