40's, fluid of gender, ace, creature-shaped shine.  She/They.  Here to post a shiny thing every day, and likely rebagel a bunch of stuff via queue.  Formerly shinyponymod. Header by FelisRandomis, Icon base by FelisRandomis with edits/color by me.

normal: using a fictional character's canon last name (ash ketchum)

funny: using the name of the show as the character's last name because they don't have a canon last name (adora she-ra)

very funny: using the name of the show as the character's last name even though they have a canon last name (finn adventuretime)

extremely funny: using the name of the show as the character's last name even though the name of the show already contains the character's name (steven stevenuniverse)

I feel like people who say that playing Disco Elysium from Kim's perspective would be like being forced to pick the normal, boring dialogue option every single time are forgetting that "Kim says something bizarre with a perfectly straight face and the narrative treats it as logical, sensible and sane purely on the strength that Kim is the one who said it" is literally a running gag in this game.

I'm often really dedicated to the visual quality and authenticity of the memes I make, but like idk if I could ever make another human being care about that. I used the proper font and color picked the correct color and sized everything correctly and used the alignment tool to get the spacing right and redrew the nebula background and spent way too long messing with the drop shadow settings to mimic the original text. Skyrim media literacy 0 skill meme. If you care.

Your commitment to craftsmanship is appreciated. Years ago I spent way too long on this stupid meme to get the pull lines in the dark green and the fading of the lime color just right.

i am still stupidly proud of this lmao

every thing i see about horses ever: the average horse eats at least one baby a year and will die of malnutrition if it doesn’t, horses can understand latin but only the demonic kind, horses bones are made of eggshell and they are known to cause psychic disturbances to pregnant women

every thing i hear about donkeys: donkeys are actually known to jump in front of bullets aimed at their owners during robberies and their favorite pastime is cuddling. donkeys favorite food is strawberries and they also can beat video game levels you struggle at for over an hour. they make great best men at weddings, and like to watch LOTRs extended edition

still genuinely incomprehensible to me that people wear shoes indoors. do you live in a mineshaft

multiple people in my immediate circle of acquaintances have seriously injured their feet indoors by not wearing shoes! either by stepping on small, pointy objects or stubbing their toes so hard they got nerve damage. some of us like to be protected! get yourself a cheap pair of house slippers or something. fuck.

why do you have small pointy objects scattered around on the floor of your literal home

Enough of the trope where memory loss undoes the damage or the corruption or whatever. More content where removing memories just removes the context.

The tragedy of needing to grieve and not knowing what or who you lost or why. The angst of having trauma and being denied the awareness that it's trauma. The suspense of being different somehow and left to wonder how and when. The tension of knowing that something is off and you can't find where it hurts. The Adventure Zone gets it. Kingdom Hearts gets it.

There is an aching inside you and you don't know how it got there.

If I ever share anything that was AI generated it is purely by accident. I hate that it's getting harder and harder to tell and it makes me want to never use the internet again. It definitely had its faults, but man I miss the internet of the 2000s so much.

Adding to this: please TELL ME if I share something that is genAI and you know it is. I want to know this information.
