Outstanding album whith some similitudes with Through the Nightfall Grandeur.
If only the length of the album was on pair with the length of its title.
Very recomendable if you liked "Through the nightfall...".
More in the symphonic beautiful and melancholic ambient than Dark Ambient.
Very different to any other album in the Cryo Chamber repertoire, and highly recommended.
Leaves a feeling of a sudden remembrance of a dream, with fragments of voices and melodies you tought were lost.
Probably the Cryo Chamber album ive listened the most together with Metatron Omega´s trilogy.
Took it a while but this album finally defeated Nyarlathotep as my Mythos favourite album.
Has some incredibly beautiful melodies intrinsic to the whole tematic sound landscape which make it the best collaboration so far.
Hard to say if it is as good as or better than Yog-Sothoth (probably the further).
A very good back to shape album when compared to the not so good Shub-Niggurath from last year.
Listening to this feels like following a stranger in the streets who walks into places you would not expect (or want to go).
One detail I highly appreciate in this recording is the background vinyl sound effect.
Of all the five Collaborations I would say this is the less good, when compared to the quality of the other four.
Where the others have different moments and ups and downs, giving you a feel of variety, Shub Niggurath feels a bit too much like a quiet lake with ocassional soft disturbances.
Its not bad at all, just does not reach the heights of Yog-Sothoth or Nyarlathotep.
Still good on its own tho but way too plain for a two hour work.
Very powerful, brooding resounding choirs accompany the music with a result that did not left me indifferent... I had to have it after I discovered these tracks in the youtube 24/7 broadcast from Cryo Chamber.
