This series is full of dark, gritty, and hard hitting tracks. S&M4 might just be the best version yet. While some of the rhythms appear multiple times throughout the mix (the triplet 808 pattern), BACKWHEN maintains a consistently dark atmosphere throughout the runtime.
I also really enjoy some of the more experimental 808 progressions throughout this album. It feels like a fusion of dark trap and wave phonk.
