Juliana's in top form on this album. Loved, loved, loved all her cover albums, but it's great to hear her voice again. Despite some of the sadness in the lyrics, the music itself is rather sunny and hopeful. She contains multitudes. Everything is tight. It harkens back to her 90s stuff, but also gives me West Coast 70s and early 2000s vibes. Been a fan since Blakes Babies, and this album proves that Juliana never lets her audience down.
