despite being a collection of unpolished songs and demos from over the years, there's a really strong thematic throughline of regret and grief presented in that classic acoustic Blood Girl style. There's a specificity present in some of the lyrics that show greater vulnerability than I expected- and believe me I expected it- but also some quite fun playful experimentation in vocal styles and lyrical rhythms. One Last Time really got to me as a culmination of those themes. A great listen.
