  1. God's Gift
    by Toranaga UK
Sword Of Damocles Sword Of Damocles
New one sounds alright, but nothing will ever beat the classic. The sound on this is just *mwah* And that old-school cover art, just sick.
  2. Resurrection

  3. Sign of the times
    by Ancient Days
    Night witches Night witches
I was on the fence with this one due to it being very Rock flavored but I just couldn't say no, and I'm glad I didn't.
  4. Satanas
    by Witchsnake
    Demona Demona
This album sounds nasty! Never heard production quite like this before. I do also enjoy how the vocals are more about flavor, rather than the usual dominating sort.
  5. Blood Of The Raven
    by Burn Ritual
Blood Of The Raven Blood Of The Raven
  6. Heavy Compass Demo
    by FUZZ VOYAGE
    East Wind East Wind
A fun and ultra bassy FUZZ VOYAGE, what else is there to say? Makes me wonder what it would've sounded like finished though.

  8. Where Madness Dwells
    by IRONFLAME
A Funeral Within A Funeral Within
My first exposure to Ironflame, and boy, I'm glad it was. D'Cagna's vocals sound quite European in a way; something rare amongst American vocalists. I love the tone, the riffs and overall sound of this record; IROMFLAME at their peak.
  9. Compendium
    by IRONFLAME
Queen of Thorns Queen of Thorns
Though this is my least favorite Ironflame album overall, it still packs a heavy punch.
  10. Blood Red Victory
    by IRONFLAME
Blood Red Cross Blood Red Cross
It's funny, because although this awesome record has a fine mix of Power and NWOTHM, I think the Heavy ones are where Ironflame as a band shine the most.
  11. The Ritual
    by Tryglav
    The Ritual The Ritual
As others have said, it's nothing groundbreaking, but it's one of the most enjoyable and loopable BM albums I've ever heard. Melodic and köld! The blue covers never let you down, huh?
  12. ...Empty, Cold & Forgotten... (NP019)
by From the Sunset, Forest and Grief
...Cold, Empty & Forgotten ...Cold, Empty & Forgotten
It's been over 10 years since I last heard this, and it's still good. Depressive, but beautiful and uplifting near the end.
  13. Kval
    by Kval
    Sokeus Sokeus
Creates an atmosphere much like the one on the cover. Also gives Burzum feelings at times, which I mean as a compliment.
  14. At the Gates of Adversarial Darkness
    by Kings Rot
Beneath the Hunters Moon Beneath the Hunters Moon
The artwork grabbed me and the music kept me. This album is incredible, a must have for any Melodic BM lovers out there. Absolutely love the clearly audible tape recorder sound too. "Sounds" epic without "being" so, if that makes sense.
  15. The Sorcerer's Wrath
    by Curse
Under a Spell Under a Spell
YouTube algorithm blessed me with it, had to buy it. Though somewhat repetitive at times, this is a very enjoyable Black/Thrash album with plenty of old-school charm and modern production. Though for some reason, there's a fair amount of clipping here unlike in the YT stream. If that were fixed somehow, I'd gladly repurchase this.
  16. Sinister Oath
    by Coffins
    Sinister Oath Sinister Oath
The first 5 seconds of B.T.C.D. invested me, everything else sold me. An instant buy if you even vaguely like Death/Doom and old-school sounds, holy shit. Always love seeing quality heavy stuff come from Japan🤘
  17. Acerbic - Big Fast Super Buzz
    by Acerbic
Spirit of Ecstasy Spirit of Ecstasy
Crazy album with a very fitting title! Simple yet complex, with incredible production to boot.
  18. Hyperdrive

  19. Necrotic Verses
    by DEATH COURIER
A fantastic, old-school styled Death Metal album through and through. Gotta love the Black Metal feeling sprinkled in here as well.
