This album is equal parts ridiculous, flippant, earnest, insane, deliberate, and brilliant. In sum, it's altogether amazing.
The sound palette on this recording is as bananas as the balloon font logo and clip-art castle. From the quartet opening the album, to the stupid 90's Roland MT-32 midi sound fonts, all supported by pretty damn decent guitar/bass tones, beautiful female vocals, corny lyrics, bagpipes, tin whistles, horns... I'm sure this album was as fun to make as it is to listen to.
