Midnight Messiah and Night Terror were amazing songs to experience live. As a whole this album is much more groove/metal forward than their last few (thanks Portnoy). I loved the Mangini material so I was apprehensive about this new album but after 3 full listens it seems to get better with time.

Satisfying riff after riff, this is a thick slab of well-played death metal. The atmosphere shines through during the breaks in the musical destruction and when it does it is simply gorgeous. A album that leaves me craving a replay, one of my favorites of the year.

Just yes. So much to love about this one from the writing to the mastering to the riffage to the feelings. Another sparkling gem in his career!

I have mentioned many times that the show I saw on the Strength tour was one of my all time favorite concerts. Safe to I was very excited for this record to drop. So here are my honest thoughts...I adore this album. This is new territory for them in an awesome way. As a big enjoyer of new wave/post punk I feel those itches being scratched as well as my metal cravings. The catchiness of their prior work is still here, the writing is just more complex. Amazing stuff!!

An essential for lovers of straightforward riffing black metal. Frozen unforgiving domination from start to finish.

I am a masisve fan of Neon City so I was very excited to finally hear new material from Angel Sword. Their style of catchy and nostalgic heavy metal always hits just right and this is definitely the case on World Fighter. High quality, riffy, Finnish fun 🤘🤘This is at least on the same level as Neon City if not better!!

I always love their guitar tones and style of playing. This album is a great example of using riffs that build on themselves in a satisfying way. I love Ravn's cadence and his vocal work on the record is fantastic, especially on Fatalist. This is an awesome addition to the 1349 discography and a record that feels good to listen to.
