really appreciate the releases of these Windmill Live comps, as someone who isn't based in London it's been a useful primer for all this New Weird Brit stuff

Ducter (Warsaw, Brooklyn) Ducter (Warsaw, Brooklyn)
kinda eerie vibe to this live album that i enjoy a lot - it's as though big pieces of the sound/experience are missing, but you still get this organic/live feeling. i can imagine people having an issue with this - the sparse vibes - but eh, it feels like not being able to attend gigs. 14 min Ducter is unreal!
  14. Ofte jeg drømmer mig død
    by AFSKY
    Angst Angst
does that nice thing that black metal does sometimes, where it's not so concerned with its technical bravado and instead just becomes a storm cloud, and you can just sit inside it being sad, or feeling cold. as someone who isn't usually drawn to screamo vocal stylings, i like the way this guy sounds like an actual monster and totally unlike a selfconscious human

love how this track uses wall noise, very thick, and then the sitar cuts through it and adds this brightness - plus the riff is catchy and pleasing
