About Me

Hi, I'm Jay [They/It]

I am an autistic/disabled/adhd trans non-binary person and this is my main blog.

My blog is 18+ and I'd prefer if you don't follow me if you're a minor. I don't reblog anything explicitly nsfw, but I will make jokes and reblog posts that talk about that stuff.

I support palestine, trans lives and black lives, I don't tolerate bigots or idiots on my blog, you will be blocked.

I am a cat breed nerd and fascinated with feline genetics. I also love other animals [especially mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians] as well as dinosaurs!! Currently also obsessed with fish and fish keeping, planning on aquascaping as a hobby.

Big fan of history, geography, horror media, speculative biology, dragons and monsters. I'm a furry as well.

I will also occassionally reblog gore and animal skeletons/taxidermy and other creepy visuals.

I wanna write books and work on movies, maybe do cat genetics on the side one day. I have a webcomic I'm working on at the moment as well as a fakemon region.

I am struggling with rent and bills, so if anyone could donate, that would be of great help

A photograph from the 1870’s showing tens of thousands of bison skulls. They were mass slaughtered by the U.S. Army to make room for cattle and force Native American tribes into starvation.

“Far from inciting feelings of disgust or horror, the slaughter of bison was seen by European settlers as a means to wealth, a healthy pastime, and most chilling of all, as a way to end the primary source of sustenance for the Plains Indians and so drive them from their land.

legend tells of a mysterious being called “nuance” that allows multiple things to be true at the same time. some say you can still hear its voice whispering in the trees

I love having online friends from other countries. You can learn about something that alledgedly is a thing over there, and just go on discord and ask "hey have you ever had a carp in your bathtub?" and get an answer like "no, but my grandparents did at least once."

Reading this post is a great example of my pov when I remember that snow is a real thing that exists during winter for some people and not just exclusively on fictional mountain tops

Tumblr hates trans women, this is a known fact

Like it's really not a surprise that they (staff) keep banning trans women, they hate trans women and therefore do not apply the same moderation standards they do for other blogs

When I was running the amtrak-official blog and in the closet, tumblr intervened several times as a result of the trademark filings to defend my blog, stating satire, but in May shortly after I came out as trans, I was randomly terminated for a week with no explanation given

people who are obsessed with IQ would buckle if there was a number associated with how pleasant you are to interact with

yes i'm a beginner artist. yes i have been a beginner artist for the past 15 years. don't question it

we can begin for as long as we like my friend we have our whole lives ahead of us

Like yeah if you literally stalked me for my whole life you'd find a lot of dirt but that'd be insane behaviour

And if you genuinely believe you have never done anything shameful, regrettable, bad etc. in your entire life it's really not a fair or reasonable expectation to have for other people

that's why digging through someones socials to find dirt is such a damaging part of everyone having social media from a young age. Like, I get that everyone's tired of the "oh, he was only a boy then when he said that racist shit" and it was from the year prior. and He's like 25. But there is so much shit people say and do that if you posted it while everyones dunking on them for a bad take, it would look way worse. We are not meant to be judged at all time, there's a reason saying someone is "judgemental" was considered a bad thing. If your entire existence is imperfectly preserved as a transcript of your life, that means you unconsciously live your life in fear of that surveillance and judgement. You can't grow like that. you can't live like that. Youll live a less honest version of yourself both in fear of someone who will come along on their worst day to cast aspersions on every aspect of your life, but also because you're trying to appeal to any type of person who could read your lifes transcript.

straight people are so fascinating even when they aren't actively trying to be homophobic. I had a class a few years ago where one assignment was to summarize some eighth century arabic poetry about going out for drinks with the lads before indulging in some gay sex and like half the class came in and said "I'm sorry idk what was happening in this one, they mention having sex with a servant but they also say the servant's a man? where'd the woman come from? I'm so confused." and a few days ago in a shakespeare class I made a comment about how cleopatra and octavius caesar are kind of parallel characters in possessively bartering for mark antony's attention and one of my classmates responded as though I'd been talking about octavia and not caesar, despite the fact that I said "caesar" and "him" multiple times while describing the actions he specifically took. fully incapable of comprehending of anything that's even a little bit gay.

i like imagining that it feels good as fuck to be multiple raindrops sliding down a windowpane and then combining when you touch. that's gotta be so nice.

A series of pictures depicting issues for those who rely on wheelchairs.

A person with glasses sitting on a wheelchair stares at a door entrance located on a set of stairs.

Did you know... Some of us couldn’t even enter our own homes?

A crowd gathers in front of a bus, with a person on a wheelchair on the back, trying to get other people’s attention.

Please be mindful... Of those who can’t “push” their way around!

A woman with a hijab and glasses sits at a receptionist desk. A person on a wheelchair wearing a kippah is unable to reach the top to get her attention.

Simple things like reception desk height actually matters a lot!

A person on a wheelchair wearing a baseball hat backwards is unable to close the door to the restrooms. Despite this, the sign outside is marked as wheelchair accessible.

It is as if... Some doors aren’t meant to be closed!

A person on a wheelchair is frightened as their wheelchair goes down too fast down a ramp.

Did you know... That wheelchair ramps are steeper than recommended?

A man wearing a kippah is about to enter a temple, but covers his wheelchair wheels with a cover to keep the inside of the temple as clean as possible.

Wheelchairs go everywhere... But we can provide wheel covers for special places.

A picture of a parking lot Two cars are parked, one with most space to allow a disabled person to get on and off. A woman holding crutches is angered at a motorcycle parked in front of her car, which isn’t supposed to be there. A person on a wheelchair nearby notices her anger.

There’s a reason why... Certain space is allocated at disabled parking lots. And no, it’s not for your bike!

Two people stand in front of an automatic door. One is a child attempting to wave their hands to get it to open, and the other is a person on a wheelchair.

Notice that sometimes... Automatic door sensors are a bit short?

A bus is waiting at a stop. A person on a wheelchair is unable to get to the stop due to a steep ledge in front of them.

Are you aware that... Despite the upgraded buses, the bus stops need upgrading too?

A person on a wheelchair is using an ATM machine, which is placed at a lower position so they’re able to reach and use the machine comfortably.

In case you’re wondering... Why the new ATM machine designs are lower and slightly uncomfortable to use while standing up...
