you know what the sad thing is? they wrote this finale for the GA. they had multiple chatgpt AND reddit tabs open on their laptops. even after saying they weren’t going to listen to reddit.
and the GA? they’ll forget about the show. they’ll rewatch it once in a while. get excited for a spin-off, before saying it’s reheating the original show’s nachos and move on.
but you know who does keep fandoms alive? the ones that invests time, money, art and passion into it? predominantly their lgbtq+ fans.
and the worst thing is, a lot of the GA came around in the end. after vol1, everyone was routing for it. people even considered the finale byler endgame. people were cheering for it at jimmy fallon. we still have this fandom space, but i will NOT be supporting their other projects after the blatant queerbaiting.
this will go down as a generational fumble. (i’m still half on the conformitygate bus someone kick me off)

I feel so insane about ai. I've had face-to-face conversations with people who use it for therapy, who use it to calculate the safety of pill interactions, who use it for all their emails and grant applications and legal documents and academic papers and finance sheets and for every single question they have about the world, and if you tell them about the ecological costs they just laugh and say "I guess I've used a lot of water." and I've been in multiple gatherings of 10+ people where I'm THE ONLY PERSON who doesn't use chatgpt. it's turning me into a ranting raving pariah, because how don't you people see??? why don't you understand??????? this bullshit didn't exist five years ago, you absolutely do not need it, and it is destroying everything

If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize. Your panic/anxiety attacks will only get worse and trigger more frequently if you constantly avoid contact with The Public. Not saying that you need to be a social butterfly- but there is a genuine problem with not being able to order your own meal at a restaurant. And it cannot be solved by always having someone else do it for you.

everyone who reblogs this and is like "I ordered my own tea this week" or "I only barfed once when I had to give a presentation'- you are doing amazing sweetie. Have patience with yourself, you are relearning a skill so difficult that people get 4 year degrees to do it professionally.

lol I am in such a stressed-out blind rage today from insurance bullshit that I wrote up a glossary of health insurance terms (things like deductibles, premiums, and copays) because all the free guides online are unnecessarily complicated and the only way you can squeeze a dime out of these bullshit companies is to understand their overly-complicated policies. give em hell
This is a GREAT guide folks - it’s simple, straightforward, and deals well with the overly complicated alphabet soup of medical insurance. Knowing this stuff can prove REALLY helpful, and the examples used are a great resource.
