If you see me like your vent post that is me giving u a lil hug, I do not enjoy your suffering
if you like a character long enough you begin to lose the plot a little. just made my nonbinary wizard lactose intolerant and allergic to some sunscreens. okay
loving all the enthusiasm on this post but I AM noticing a lot of tags like "me giving the character depression" and "yeah I gave the character a fear of bugs" NAHHH! NAH!! get more nuts. lose your marbles more. get weirder. those headcanons are great but here are some other traits I have bestowed upon my nonbinary lactose intolerant sunscreen sensitive wizard.
- no sweat glands, they regulate temperature by letting off low-level magic particles that carry excess body heat away. if you licked them on a hot day (WHY) it'd be like licking a 9V battery
- sparkly sneezes. like tiny fireworks
- hatred of grass touching their bare feet. it's boots or dirt or NOTHING
- stomach acid so strong it can dissolve metal
- cannot digest most foods due to being an obligate carnivore but eats lots of fancy food anyway #stupid #stomachache
- their natural body odour smells like cumin and star anise and is almost pleasant
"if you licked them on a hot day (WHY) it's be like licking a 9V battery"
I think the "why" is obvious? they have no sweat glands so it won't taste bad and it's like licking a 9V battery. two great reasons
also like.... idk hon i personally just wanna lick the spicy wizard
Yeah they smell like cumin
if we can get a couple more spice wizards here they can be the spice girls
theres cumim
paprika
pepper (my favorite)
and garlic. garlic is a bit much on her own but damnit of she doesnt bring it all together.
and also garlic sparks like a car battery. just, generally. would still lick🤷♀️
they're non-binary though
I think magus would be delighted at the idea of becoming an honorary spice girl actually
god I wish I had a pair of menacing black gauntlets with really sharp fingertip claws I bet it feels good as fuck to have your hands resting palm-down on a surface and then scratch some deep fucking gashes into it as you clench your hand a little closer to a fist when your evil minion delivers some bad news to you
In a place like Rotglob, it is incredibly meaningful to have a statue and resting area in honor of Bob, who was known by most to be an angry man. Clam's words about not communicating frustration because everyone is working so hard and the pressure to be positive, which I think is an attitude that may permeate to other parts of the Gladlands. The area to serve as a reminder and validation that it is okay, real, and true to feel not-"positive" emotions. And because it was created as part of Bob's deathcare, a reminder of community, service, and working together even when you may not like the people you're in community with.
And Quinn being the one to suggest the idea as her way of contributing to Bob's deathcare. Anger and frustration as emotions that perhaps come easier to her than glad tidings but carving the lead was her way of caring. Carving Mark's face subconsciously because in this moment of complicated grief, she's still grieving him. And maybe carving the metal cage -- whose parts were once part of him as the lead was part of Bob -- around her head was part of her deathcare for Mark.
idk if i can describe how much of a fucking delight it is to watch Vic play on d20 with this super interesting character they've created and how confident and fluent they are as Hugi literally RIGHT away. Hugi is such a wild and interesting and haunting character, Vic is casually dropping nukes like "only the dead ever see Hugi truly without the mask" in an adventuring party like HELLO????
