• imagine leaving your hometown for the first time and then within ONE WEEK:

    • discovering you have magic powers
    • finding a mentor who immediately offers employment
    • getting kidnapped and psychologically tortured by your mentor’s ungrateful nepo baby
    • watching your kidnapper kill your mentor
    • being tasked with convincing an old celebrity to come out of hiding
    • entering a long distance situationship with your kidnapper
    • meeting up with your kidnapper situationship and killing his boss together
    • getting negged by your situationship about not being a nepo baby (no shit you hadn’t left your hometown until last week)
    • watching that old celebrity sacrifice his life to your situationship (yay success at talking him out of hiding)
    • ending the situationship
    • going to work for your ex-situationship’s mother/dead mentor’s ex-wife/celebrity’s brother

I don’t think I would be able to survive experiencing half of that in a month

does the film seek to imply that Victor tried to recreate his beloved angel in the features of his creation? Echoing the cracks in the wood, while piecing together a face?

'...I had selected his features as beautiful. Beautiful--Great God!'
