my favourite part of ao3 not having an algorithm is that i can click on any random fic, out of whatever curiosity (morbid or otherwise) i may have on a whim, knowing I won’t spend the next three months having “similar” content constantly shoved in my face in a desperate attempt to keep me engaged while i stab the not interested button over and over with a growing rage bubbling beneath my skin

Tumblr is such a magical place. The mature content filter is shielding me from photos of ballgowns, but you better believe I’ve seen the entire uncensored ass of those hockey guys every day this week.

Good morning, beautiful women in my rectangular electronic device who can’t seem to lock in.

It’a so funny when people get upset over being called “able-bodied” because you just know what they’re really upset about is not being called “normal.”

“Why do we have to label everyone?” when what they really mean is, “no, you’re the freak, I’m normal.”

Anyway, you can’t begin to imagine the gasket they blow when you start calling them “temporarily abled.”

“Are you threatening me?”

At this point? Yes.

wiisagi-maiingan:

Controversial opinion maybe but I think it should be illegal or at least a fireble offense for teachers, especially in elementary schools/kindergartens/daycares, to record their students to post videos on their personal tiktoks or youtube channels or whatever. It’s horrible how so much of the world has been turned into content by people who either don’t understand or don’t care about things like privacy and safety, but I do think it’s pretty evil for people to take advantage of the children under their care to make content off of them.

Teachers posting videos of themselves getting the classroom ready or talking about things like lack of funding in classrooms or the ways children are left behind or neglected by the system or even just talking about their daily routine as a teacher? Cool, a great way to show the realities of teaching and start discussions about the issues in the school system.

Teachers making videos during class, recording the kids, or talking about personal information regarding their students, coworkers, or the families of students, often without consent? Genuinely what the fuck is wrong with society.
