• When you've fallen asleep, he's quietly looking at your face. He recounts the day in his head, wondering when the last time he had bothered to celebrate his birthday
• He grazes the outline of your face with one of his rings. A quiet, almost reluctant "thanks" from his lips, before he leans down to plant a soft kiss on the corner of your lips

"Thanks for today, baby. Ya didn't hafta go along with my bullshit... but ya did, anyway... I enjoyed it. Lots. Love ya, [Name]..."
