one thing about me is that i will go on your blog and look around
this came to me in a dream
The concept of Will finally gaining a stable father figure through Hopper, but forever feeling like he's taking Jane's place.
The concept of Hopper having to learn how to be a father to two sons after having two daughters.
The concept of Will telling his college friends that he's a twin, and showing them pictures of Jane, forever frozen at 16, and them telling him they see the resemblance.
The concept of Jonathan getting Will back, but still mourning a younger sibling in the end.
The concept of the Hopper-Byers family never getting to live all together under one roof.
The concept of Will’s college friends joking about how everyone in Will’s family has a name starting with J except for him, and him having to resist saying that his sister also had another name that sounded similar to his own.
The concept of Hopper seeing Will huddled asleep in Jane's old room one night and just seeing Jane for a second.
The concept of Jonathan making a film about overcoming abuse and dedicating it to Jane.
Just the concept of the Hopper-Byers family post Jane's death.
It’s impossible to queerbait me because I don’t hope or dream for anything at all
i’m very self aware. which unfortunately hasn’t solved anything

THE PITT 2.01 – 7:00 A.M.
The realism of Robby being a little bit of an unintentional misogynist is so, so important to me. Like he is a good boss and a great teacher, he is friends with women and works with women and teaches women and respects women greatly. And yet—it’s Langdon, and then Whitaker, who Robby adopts as his mentees. It’s David, not the girls on the kill list, who Robby prioritizes care for. It’s the dad accused of grooming his daughter who Robby refuses to report, while informing the authorities about the mother drugging him without a second thought. He reams Langdon out for berating Santos, but doesn’t check in on Santos until Langdon refuses to let it go and Robby becomes suspicious of there being an actual problem.
And obviously we are seeing Robby on the worst day of life, and maybe even calling him a “little bit of a misogynist” is a bit too much because he’s not, really. But he does have ingrained biases and he does seem to only be able to fully see himself in and completely empathize with other men. And that is just. So true of even the nicest, kindest, most wonderful and feminist men I know.
dr robby and the terrible horrible no good very bad day
what if you were a MED STUDENT and it was you FIRST SHIFT in emergency medicine and then you spilled MYLANTA on yourself and you had to CHANGE YOUR SCRUBS and then a patient BLED all over you and you had to CHANGE YOUR SCRUBS and RIGHT AFTER THAT a boy BARFED BLOOD all over you and you had to CHANGE YOUR SCRUBS and then a some guy PEED on you and you had to CHANGE YOUR SCRUBS and you looked like a BABY OWL
WRONG. talk about it. shout about it. yell about it. scream about it. so what if it’s a fanfic? it’s done with love and passion. it’s art created by a fellow human being who, despite life and lord knows what battle they may or may not be going through, probably stayed up all night writing it before they shared it with the world for free. they’d probably spent months or years writing it. it’s as much a piece of art and literature as any other art and literature that aren’t fanfics. and unlike artists who make profit off their works, fanfic writers truly write for free, because they are that passionate about their stories. the least we can do is show them our love and appreciation.
Kaz loving magic tricks as a boy and falling in love with a girl who can dissapear. Inej being told to find a boy who remembers her favorite flower, and falling in love with a boy who remembers her most important dreams. Jesper losing the one person who saw him as blessed and falling in love with a boy who sees him as even more than that. Wylan seeing magic in every mundane thing, and falling in love with a boy with magic in his veins. Nina growing up knowing she would always be targeted and falling in love with a boy who vows to protect her. Matthias losing his love for the world as a child and falling in love with a girl who loves even the simplest of pleasures.
No one writes romance like Leigh Bardugo
the world as soon as a fat actress plays Carrie White
what will sees whenever mike notices him feeling a bit off
Jonah Magnus died doing what he hated most.
Dying.
such an egregious thing about the pjo tv show is that they are destroying its heart to make it more marketable to mass audiences by erasing the diversity embedded within the text.(yes they added poc into the cast which I'm thankful for but the show removed everything else!!)
pjo was initially written for minorities and children ostracised by society, demonstrated clearly by our protagonist being a neurodivergent working class domestic abuse survivor who sucks at school and doesn't fit in. rick initially made this story for his son, who also struggled from his neurodivergency and made this unconventional protagonist the hero of his story to show that despite your barriers, you can be a hero too. like even the damn greek mythology aspect was used as a vehicle for including representation. the demigod experience is an explicit allegory to the neurodivergent experience, it's inexplicably woven into the very worldbuilding. The show prides itself on having soo much discourse and speeches about how being a demigod alienates you from the Mortal world (esp annabeth), but it blatantly fails to expand upon the reason behind it because they didnt add the neurodivergency aspect !!! & instead making this false dichotomy of demigod vs. human !!!
