It's time for your teddy bear's doctor appointment! Kids, bring your teddy bear, or other stuffed animal, to have their temperature checked, listen to their heart, and have a check-up. Join Edgewood College's Child Life Association and Gilda's Club Madison for an evening of medical play*.

*Medical play involves interacting with real or pretend medical equipment in a playful way. It can help children understand and become more comfortable with medical tests, procedures, treatments, and the overall medical experience. Therapeutic medical play gives children a way to express their feelings, fears, and anxieties and helps them learn ways to cope with things that may be otherwise stressful (cancer.gov).
