It was not for nothing that I mentioned under the previous post that the Hero of Ferelden wasn't spared by life, and Rook would have preferred not to meet him at all. But once, despite everything, there was a happy time for both of them. Difficult, for the Dalish it is never easy, but still happy.

After already... hmm, 25 years, they will meet again, but as the circumstances of the meeting, including who they both became, will be far from rosy...

P. S.: Yes, I made my Rook the daughter of the Hero of Ferelden, and I do not regret anything. The crunch of 'glass' on my teeth is excellent.

What can I say, life hasn't spared Garlas, the Hero of Ferelden after 22 years at the time of the events of DAtV is still alive, and... in the opinion of my Rook it would be better if he remained dead.

I just started playing Origins, and the idea of connecting Rook and the Hero of Ferelden appealed to me. At first it was a joke, but usually the best things come from jokes.

Meet my Hero of Ferelden, Garlas Mahariel, a Dalish warrior, descendant of the Emerald Knights and father of my Rook, so technically my Enya "Rook" Laidir... not Laidir, but Mahariel (and gods how it suits her).

His character and essence (or bitchiness), were inspired after very intensive listening to the musical EPIC, in particular the parts of Poseidon, so... thanks Jorge Rivera-Herrans for so inspiring EPIC.

Well, since it's summer, hot and stuffy summer, it's high time for one of us to undress. And since I can't go to the beach, Enya will.

And it's not even undressing, it's just The Lords of Fortune's dress uniform. All according to Isabela's latest advice: "Gold and glory and gold. And more gold wouldn't hurt."

Just sketches of my elves' faces.

It's funny that three of them are the protagonists of their parts of Dragon Age.

The lady with the braid is Lady Inquisitor Aurin Lavellan. In general, due to the lack of the necessary hairstyle in the editor in game, I decided that after the Enclave she had to shorten the braid.

I have already shown my Rook here, but why not show it again, besides, I love her. Enya Laidir... although, to be more precise, she is Enya Mahariel, since that elf with Elgar'nan's face is her father, Garlas Mahariel, who is also the Hero of Ferelden. He will still be present in Enya's stories, and, in her humble opinion, it would be better not to be present.

I was wondering what Enya would look like with the vallaslin if she had lived in the clan longer. And it would have been Andruil's vallaslin, it's not even up for discussion, as well as Elgar'nan's vallaslin on Garlas's face... I think in clans, for such crazy ones, the Keepers make special stencils so as not to bother and just slap them on the face like a stamp.

As for the last elf, she is Enya's mother. I can't say much about her, because that would be spoilers. I can say that she is red-haired, a mage, and from an alienage. The rest of the details will come later.

Well... I tried something romantic and flowers, but the flowers were stronger than me.

Originally, the background was supposed to have that same Shroud's Kiss, on Emmrich's side, and a thicket of thistles on the Rook' side, but I ruined the background. So now they sit somewhere in a secluded corner of the Crossroads, eye to eye (I never walk past my Rook without making jokes about the eye, yes).

And the wisps. I love wisps :D

They are like my last nerve cells left after trying to add color to the background.

It was a flash mob in Ask before the New Year "Drunken Secret Santa" and the characters did not receive exactly the gifts they wanted. In Haskill's case, of course, having the Wraithguard was not on his wish list, but... what's stopping an old man from trying, right?

And behind the Daedric font there are a few curses, forgive me, old man was tired, he wanted to rest.

Enya "Rook" Laidir... She has a special relationship with alcohol. A high relationship, I would say. Exceeding her already small threshold turns the quite pleasant to talk to elf into an alcoholic cattle, and a very aggressive one at that :D

- Got it...

You know, I like drawing a characters who demands more gold to hang on them. It's quite a meditative activity, drawing all these details. On the other hand, thanks that Enya is dressed - it would be torture to draw not only jewelry, but also a tattoo on the whole leg. Thank you, my little Owl, for getting dressed :D

I have nothing to brag about yet, so I'll throw in some old funny stuff here :D

And heeeere we go again... In a new ask with... actually a redraw of the old pic with Enya "Rook" Laidir. And with a small redesign of the character. At the same time it is both pleasant and not so pleasant when your character tells you "Am I the Lord of Fortune or what? I NEED MORE GOLD! And the eye is out, yep". It is pleasant because it gives more charm and details. It is not pleasant because all this needs to be drawn.
