The actor Jackie Chan has said that a boy from Gaza made him cry. He said, "Recently, I watched a video. As soon as I saw that child speak, I started crying.

He was asked, "What will you be when you grow up?" He said, "Children on our side don't grow up." My tears just came falling down instantly. Gaza. The children of Gaza... Every day, being bombed.

When he said that sentence, he had no expression. So, you see, growing old is a form of happiness."

We're not living... we're barely surviving. In a tattered tent amidst the bitter cold, we're struggling to stay alive. The rain has shown us no mercy, seeping into our tent from every side, flooding the ground, soaking our bedding, and drenching everything we own. We have no dry place, no warm blanket, not even a single moment of rest.

I asked the doctor if there was another way,

and his answer was harsh—it ended with the word death.

He said it clearly: surgery is the only chance to save my wife.

Medication may reduce the tumor, but without surgery, the risk of death remains.

I am a husband begging time to slow down

while it races against my wife’s exhausted body.

Our daughters—Alma, Lama, and Lina—are waiting for their mother,

my wife, whose life is hanging on the cost of a surgery we cannot afford.

Please, don’t let money decide the fate of my wife,

a mother of three young daughters.

Your donation today is the difference between life and death.

Believe me, ignoring this post hurts more than the war itself. If you can’t donate, at least share.

I know I'm asking a lot of you, but without your help I wouldn't last a single moment in this life.

To all my friends here, you are my only hope. Please, any amount will make a difference. Please donate and share the posts.

Today's goal 56.413/56.800🙏🙏🫂

We heard in the weather forecast that there will be heavy rain in Gaza tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, and I've been trying since this morning to buy wood and tent covers so I don't get flooded by the rainwater.

It's very expensive, and all the solutions are temporary; there are no permanent solutions except for the house.

My tent shakes a lot in the wind and blows away – and that's just from the wind, so what will it be like in a low-pressure system?

To everyone, I say please donate and share this post.

Today's target is 56.216/58.900🙏🙏🫂

I write to you with deep pain and sadness for my mother.

She urgently needs to travel abroad to complete her treatment. Until this moment, we have not been able to secure the amount needed for her travel. All we need now is $1,500 so she can travel and continue her treatment. I beg you to write something for her on your pages, hoping that someone among your friends might be able to help. Please share this with your audience and donate whatever you can.

Fucking disgusting how two years into the mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, it is still being met with silence, excuses, and indifference.

No evidence is ever demanded, no urgency shown, no global mobilization when more than a hundred thousand Palestinians are killed, starved, and besieged even after a "ceasefire" that isn't even properly upheld.

When the child from Gaza said, "We are children who never grow up," it wasn't just a passing remark; it was a reality we live every second. Even stars who made the world laugh, like Jackie Chan, couldn't hold back their tears at the weight of those words.

I sat down to light a fire to warm my children, but the rain was pouring heavily. The wood got soaked and would no longer catch fire.

My little ones were shivering in front of me, helpless and weak. All I had were a few matchsticks... and the clothes I wore.

I won’t deny that for a moment I thought about taking off my jacket and burning it to warm them, but that jacket was all I had.

I looked at my wife; she was shaking violently, her lips turning blue from the biting cold. I tried to cover her and the children with a thin, worn-out blanket, but the winter’s chill was stronger.

In that moment, I felt completely powerless, the reality here in Gaza is more than I can bear alone.

Suddenly, an idea came to me: in a dilapidated shack behind our camp, covered with tin and zinc, we started running and racing because the heat generated by movement could give us some temporary warmth.

We played, laughed, and warmed their small bodies, if only for a little while.

My wife whispered to me, “Will we soon be able to rent a warm home where our children feel true warmth?”

The most recent ceasefire has not meant an end to genocide. We must contextualize this truth within the larger historical reality: Palestine has been enduring genocidal aggression from Israel since 1948. There are periods of greater intensity, but no periods of actual relief from this state. This is the reality of all settler-colonial projects, including Zionism. We must combat this genocide not as an outlier, but as deeply embedded in global structures of colonialism.

These are not unprecedented times. This moment of constant atrocity continues steadily from each previous year. There is no way to rewind the clock. This does not mean further atrocity is inevitable. It is not fate.

Genocide is not a force of "human nature" that we must live with. It is something humans are doing, and allowing to happen, and fighting against, and being martyred within, and surviving, all at once.

We all have a role to play in how things progress from here. Time moves forward, and we must take accountability for how our collective decisions shape the future we must all endure.

My friend Fadel is enduring the roughest consequences of all of our collective decisions. He is a young man, living in Gaza. He survived the bombing of his family home, but lives with chronic pain from untreated injuries. His family has been living in a tent since then, tattered and repeatedly flooded in winter storms. They have been sick for weeks now, unable to recover under these conditions.

@fadel-dani runs a fundraiser to afford food, supplies, and medicine (gazavetters list #197). Hopefully he will raise enough to get to a better resourced hospital outside of Gaza where surgeons can remove the shrapnel from his body that causes him constant pain.

These are the events of his life. We cannot go back in time and prevent these traumas from happening to him. His life can only move forward from this moment. We all have a role to play in what happens to him from here. Please help change the course of his life.

I am one of the victims of this Nazi-like occupation. Our house was bombed while we were inside, resulting in me being injured by shrapnel that remains embedded in my body to this day. This is due to the destruction of all our hospitals by the Israeli occupation. Currently, the entry of medicines and medical equipment necessary for surgeries for the injured is being prevented. Therefore, I urgently need your help in donating so that I can raise the funds for my treatment, travel expenses, and surgery as soon as possible. Please donate.

Please, if you can donate anything, share some funds with him. If you can't, reblog this and help get more eyes on Fadel's story. Comment encouraging others. It all helps.

I don't blame you now because you see us in Gaza asking for your help, and many people are cursing me and wishing death upon me and my family.

I tell you, you are facing a true test of humanity. Everyone must share my message so that I can buy food for my children and live in a place fit for human beings.

Any amount, no matter how small, will help me buy even a simple meal. Please give what you can.

Sometimes I get frustrated because the world is so. Inconvenient. Like I fumble my keys and I just curse the universe for needlessly making my life difficult. It’s not that deep just LET ME PUT THE KEYS IN THE RIGHT WAY GODDAMMIT
