when i was like 8 i was painting a picture of an LPS dalmation in tempera paint and when i showed my mom she said i should give it a “fire hat” but i didn’t understand she meant like a firefighter’s helmet so i drew some sort of crown made of flames upon this cartoon bobble-headed plastic dog.

my mom always had a habit of her default response to my art being a suggestion to change something or do something else with the topic i didnt get it as a kid but i think she meant it as like a way of engaging -- not that i should actually do her suggestions she used to paint too so she might have inklings of inspiration from seeing others art that she doesnt know what to do with i took it as feedback like from a teacher as a kid tho so i was pretty frustrated LOL since i never seemed to be on the same page AS EVIDENCED BY THE FIRE CROWN DKJSDKSFDKJSHJLKDS i wonder if she remembers that. probably not. but i do. it makes me laugh i forgot a firefighter helmet existed <3 i might be an alien from outer space <3 <3 <3

I want to try doing more cardio type exercises but I need to find something that uses other muscles more than the calf muscles because my calves are comically strong like were talking 6 inch diameter of pure muscle and I rely on them toooo much. I’d like to use…..my other muscles someday.

i do love cycling. but thats probably how we got in this mess in the first place LOL i will still bike obviously. especially in the summer because thats my fav way to get places LOL but i neeed to find another thing. my calves strong as hell my gluts okay ish could be better my hip muscles are kinda rough. all the muscles in my ankles have but the strength of a single blade of grass part of it is that i need to be more consistent with physical therapy exercises....but thats haaaaaaaard LOL ill get there. ill get there ❤️ I HAVE been lifting weights recently slowly but its very fun!! im liking it a lot the trickiest part im learning is i hyperextend my knees like its my job so deadlifting i have to practice keeping my form but its been great. im so sad the fitness oriented gym classes in highschool were gender locked in like a way where the girls all did dance and yoga and the boys did lifting mostly. like the girls classroom was a dance studio the boys classroom was a weight room. what the hell man. i woulda loooved lifting instead i did yoga poorly and then read warrior cats oc fanfic in the corner for half an hour actually thats not totally true. sometimes i was allowed to join the special education gym class happening at the same time which was awesome everyone was chill and you could exercise at ur own pace. and also a lot of cycling. i love cycling LOL

im actually really all for ai voicebanks to be stylized in similar ways that concat voicebanks are but the problem is i dont think yamaha is doing a very good job at that in v6

tbh i dont even think theyre trying to do that despite what people say. i think theyre just being yamaha LOL im not a cevio 1.0 hater i think theyre solid for certain voices (kafu of course. i also think kirune 1.0 sounds good) (ive mentioned before ia 1.0 is limited but high key sounds great in certain types of edm LOL) although it ran into the issue that currently plagues v6 in that it blurs a lot of uniqueness out of the voice and makes them sound too similar to eachother like i think tsudumi really benefited from the 2.0 upgrade since her range was already pretty limited tbh (also biased because i like anchan's voice LOL) rn tho i think the best voices for a stylized ai vocal synth sound is. some diffsingers LOL and also low key dreamtonics did knock it out of the park with the std plus banks for sv2 even though they werent really trying to or focused on that hkjfdsajhkfsjhlkfds outside of the loss of their special phoneme groups like with renri and genbu the plus banks are fantastic YAMAHA ALMOST. ALMOST HAD SOMETHING. WITH VX BETA. WHAT HAPPENED. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE VOCODER in the early beta previews it sounded so goooood what happpeeeeennnnneeeeed. yamaha what happeneddddddddddddd i think thats one of the reasons im a little harsher on v6. i know yamaha can do better. they have the money they used to have a monopoly yamaha i knowwww u can do more..... please....... i still am weirdly obsessed with the silhouettes tho. im always happy to see people use the silhouettes <3

i hope they get tatsuya kato and yoshiaki fujisawa on the score for the new revue starlight anime project again because what those two did together on the original show and movies, and what theyve done on their own on various love live shows has been absolutely monumental. some of the best anime soundtracks ive ever heard in my life?

kato worked on sunshine (my personal fav ll score) and also apparently the yohane anime which i still havent finished LOL maybe thats the push i need to finally get back to it... hmmm fujisawa worked on school idol project and superstar - and is slated to be on the upcoming hasu movie his work on superstar especially really stuck with me you can definitely hear their styles that worked in revstar in stuff like the kiseki hikaru instrumental motif from sunshine season 2 and the matataki no saki e motif that runs through most of superstar but especially season 1. also the superstar main theme too i forgot fujiwara was doing the hasunosora movie ost im like really excited now

I guess one issue with using social media accounts for fictional characters as storytelling is that, outside of like, those slenderman args who used tumblr or twitter or something for esoteric puzzle posting, most of them end up like ur reading someone’s public curated persona, or at best an edited down public diary. Which can be interesting as a supplement for other mediums, but can feel a bit distant and restrained as a medium to get to know a character unless they really give u some stuff to read between the lines

i think thats why i kinda kept skimming over the check please twitter stuff LOL but it eas of its time so i dont mind too much now ikizulive. that is one issue im feeling rn with the tweets the zoom call videos are fun and the lldays stories are fantastic im adoring the characters but sometimes reading their twitter posts feels. odd. and i think it's just how social media has changed over even the time it took to develop this gen (its called blue bird after all LOL) like it feels so distant ive been watching more hasu too (at 103 ep 8!) and the livestreams sometimes have that like distant feeling too but not as bad since u have the activity log episodes and little quirks showing in the streams too like kozue not knowing how to end a stream LOL i guess we just gotta wait and see how ikizulive evolves. it has been like not even a year yet i hope they find a good way to tell the story because i loooove the characters abd especially the way theyre kinda leaning into like the online school setting and why students choose it. i like how neurodivergent they are is what im saying love live always has its neurodivergent coded characters and theyve been amping up the amount 1) sometimes the line between a deeply written moe character and accidental neurodivergent coding is thin LOL and 2) its pretty relatable ❤️ im literally so obsessed with polka. my dyscalculia daughterrrrrrrrrrr

finally checked out alien stage

ive been recommended it for years. but im not very good with like music video storytelling. i have trouble following them usually i think because a lot of music video series have so much important plot happening in supplemental material like not just details im talking like. the plot is happening in a novel and the mv is just emphasizing it. alien stage made me realize thats why i have trouble with music video series because alien stage like. doesnt have that issue LOL like there is supplemental material comics etc BUT its actually really easy to follow the whole plot through the videos itself!! it was awesome quite tragic but i knew that going in. i didnt know there were more characters outside of mizi sua ivan and till tho somehow LOL i guess i just saw gay fanart in my periphery and nothing else for several years. its my talent <3 anyway lemme tell you. spoilers now but i was halfway through watching round 1 and thinking ohhh i really like sua she might be my fav of the characters ive seen around and then i finished round 1 FDFHJSKHFSKDJHKJFD well i love a narrative haunter <3 anyway the animation is great and i looooved the music especially. its so polished but with an indie quality (because its indie LOL) thats really wonderful. also yeah the thing that finally pushed me over the edge to checking it out was hearing a song in a diffsinger demo googles alien stage ust vsqx svp midi. for my purposes.
