Brian Parker In 2011, when this and Attention Please dropped. Boris completely blew apart the idea of what they could do as a band. Not that earlier albums like Smile weren’t varied, but from this point on they would brook no genres... if they wanted to do JPop, shoegaze, psychouts, they would do it.

If you’re new to Boris, grabbing the 3 Heavy Rocks is a great cross-career sampler, but PLEASE don’t stop there!
