the sole survivor's house has a floor plan that does not feel like the 50s at all like why are the living room, dining room, and kitchen one open room?? also the feng shui of the house's layout is so off to me but i dont think thats an era aesthetics problem

One or two models of Lustron house were more open-floor-plan than the others. Iirc the Sole Survivor’s house is a modified version of one of those floor plans, made just a bit more open by mirroring the layout and shifting the rooms along the resulting back of the home farther to one end (at a guess, likely to allow more useable space for the player to furnish without running up against more nightmarish NPC/companion pathing problems than already exist).

i watched weapons (2025) last night and i feel like an insane person because im seeing so many people say it was so good and it has really high reviews on like rotten tomatoes and shit but it was like a mid movie at best??????????? the plot was weak and bizarre? so many of the characters made weird ass choices? it claims to be a mystery but the plot was split between the most obvious things and things that had basically zero build up or explanations?
not to mention (spoilers ig) the blood libel and killing off of exclusively "socially irredeemable" people by like the white christian right-wingers standards of good society ??????????????????????????
