When you go caving you take a tackle bag w supplies, such as water, snacks, rope (if you’re rigging a pitch), spare headlamps, etc.
in British caving specifically idk if they’re used or what they’re called worldwide you can fit a waterproof barrel called a daren drum in these, invented for a cave in south wales called daren cilau because it was so long they had to camp in it while exploring it.
Now if you are like my partner and enjoy taking elaborate meals down caves (they’ve also done a full roast dinner with gravy in a thermos) it is not such a great leap of imagination to fill up one of these drums with spaghetti and meatballs

When my mother was done high school in a medium sized town in Canada, a local lab employee came to her school, talked to the school admin, saw her records, and offered to hire her and train her in lab analysis.
By 26 years old, she had been moved up twice, in between work did her Biology BA with support of the lab which her part time work more than paid for, published her thesis to earn a masters, and came out on the far end with a managerial position with equivalent pay x2 greater than mine at that age, and with a full pension and benefits.
When she had kids she took time off, and then when she wanted to work again she wanted something different so the book store that she frequented just hired her. And I used to walk there after school and read till she was done.
Later on, when she wanted to sit more, a friend from church was retiring and offered to train her to take over her administrative job.
Never once did she put together a resume.

Having been taught in school how the resume with cover letter was the cornerstone of obtaining jobs, I look back now and see that never once has my resume gotten me the jobs that I have wanted.
It was always just talking with people - even when I was awkward and autistic.
