This mod focuses on the conversations we have with friends, the good, the messy, the complicated, everything! Girls Talk allows your sims to vent, hype each other up, manifest things together, call out sims for being fake, give bad advice, and more! The Door Was Open

Lucien and Schmoonei stand in front of Nolan’s apartment.

Lucien:

“Before you go in,”

Lucien says quietly,

“Nolan and I… we’re not on great terms right now. I’ll wait here.”

Schmoonei:

“He doesn’t even know who I am,”

Lucien:

“Just tell him you’re Schmoonei. He’ll know. Trust me.”

She scoffs.

“You little coward. Fine. I’ve got this.”

Schmoonei steps inside — and stops.

“Oh my God,”

she says to herself, loud enough to echo.

“This place is beautiful.”

Nolan:

“You must be Schmoonei.”

She startles.

Schmoonei:

“Sorry— I didn’t mean to barge in. The door was open.”

Nolan:

“And where’s your guard dog?”

Schmoonei:

“I don’t need one.”

Nolan’s gaze sharpens.

Nolan:

“Gideon knows every step you take. Courtesy of my big brother. So he’s close. Where is he?”

Schmoonei:

“Hiding outside like a coward”

Nolan steps closer. Too close.

Nolan:

“Typical. And Lucien thought it was a good idea to send you in here alone. No protection.”

Schmoonei:

“I told you. I don’t need it”

she says calmly.

“And you’re just like your brothers. All three of you look dangerous — but Vexes always have soft hearts.”

Nolan:

“I’ve been to prison. “That doesn’t scare you?”

Schmoonei:

“Not even a little, I did my homework. You went there to protect someone. So their sentence wouldn’t be worse.”

They stand so close now the air between them almost freezes.

Die Tür stand offen

Lucien und Schmoonei stehen vor Nolans Wohnung.

„Bevor du reingehst“, sagt Lucien leise, „Nolan und ich… wir verstehen uns im Moment nicht besonders gut. Ich warte lieber hier.“

„Er weiß doch gar nicht, wer ich bin“, erwidert Schmoonei.

„Sag ihm einfach, dass du Schmoonei bist. Dann weiß er es. Vertrau mir.“

Sie schnaubt. „Du kleiner Feigling. Na gut. Ich mach das schon.“

Schmoonei betritt die Wohnung — und bleibt stehen.

„Oh mein Gott“, sagt sie halblaut zu sich selbst. „Es ist wunderschön hier drin.“

„Du musst Schmoonei sein.“

Sie erschrickt leicht.

„Sorry fürs Reinplatzen. Die Tür stand offen.“

„Und wo ist dein Wachhund?“, fragt Nolan.

„Ich brauche keinen.“

Nolans Blick wird schärfer. „Gideon weiß über jeden einzelnen Schritt Bescheid, den du machst. Dank meines großen Bruders. Also ist er in der Nähe. Wo ist er?“

„Versteckt sich draußen vor der Tür. Wie ein Feigling.“

Nolan kommt näher. Zu nah.

„Typisch. Und Lucien hielt es für eine gute Idee, dich ganz allein hier reinzuschicken. Ohne Schutz.“

„Wie gesagt, ich brauche keinen“, sagt sie ruhig. „Und du bist wie deine Brüder. Alle drei wirken bedrohlich — aber ihr Vexes habt weiche Herzen.“

„Ich war im Gefängnis“, sagt Nolan leise. „Macht dir das keine Angst?“

„Nicht im Geringsten“, antwortet sie. „Ich habe meine Hausaufgaben gemacht. Du bist nur dort gelandet, weil du jemanden schützen wolltest. Damit die Strafe für diese Person nicht noch härter ausfällt.“

Sie stehen sich so nah gegenüber, dass die Luft zwischen ihnen fast gefriert.

#46 : Feeling Better

After having to pull over once, Dominic got Támar home. They'd almost made it to her room when she had to vomit again. He stood outside the bathroom door, concerned and hopeful that this wasn't anything more than some terrible food poisoning.

Once she was able to pull herself together long enough to change clothes, they laid quietly in her bed until she stopped feeling nauseous.

Then they talked for a while, until they both dozed off.
