Some of my irl hobbies include:

⁜ puzzles (variant sudoku, rubiks cube 3x3 speed-solving, cryptic crosswords, cryptograms and cyphers, etc. If you’re already familiar, based on that information I’m sure the following probably goes without saying, but I am a huge fan of the youtube channel cracking the cryptic)

⁜ language study (primarily korean, chinese, and japanese)

⁜ constructing elaborate spreadsheets (!)

⁜ drawing/painting/digital art

⁜ watching anime and kdrama/c drama/thai dramas. My favorite anime of all time is Hunter x Hunter and my favorite character is Killua :) he’s me :) we r the same :) i never rly understood kinnies until i watched hxh. now i get it lmao (not a kinnie but i believe in their beliefs etc etc) 

⁜ I like to play bandle a LOT even though I’m horrifically bad at it. 

⁜ I try not to post about it here, but you should know I’m a legacy kpoppie. I have been active to various degrees in various fandoms since 2009. my current kpop sideblog is @nemjoons

⁜ My favorite bands are Alice Nine and Marianas Trench. By the way all that stuff I literally just got done telling you about liking kpop, having self-indulgent taste, etc firmly does NOT apply to either of them okay they’re each objectively perfect spectacular peerless fantastic bands. Objectively.

⁜ I also make /outstanding/ playlists (if I do say so, myself) (They don’t include kpop unless you want them to). Please feel welcome to request one, as long as you’re willing to a) answer clarifying questions I will probably have about vibe, taste, and other parameters and b) probably be a bit patient while I put it together. It might take me a few days but I’ll be thrilled to do it :) (This could be for u, or for a fanfic, for your oc’s, for your ship, etc!)             

⁜ I am not a gamer unfortunately the only video game I ever play is wizard101. I am literally completely uninterested in playing any other games no matter how similar I am so sorry… not even pirate101 but if you want to talk to me about w101 I would LOVE to! :D 

With my main wizard though I do solo literally exclusively, so (predictably) due to this I am currently stuck at *almost* the end of the Khrysalis main storyline (Shadow Palace) all because I have a stubborn refusal to team up, even for major dungeons, even the legendarily difficult ones, which is to say for more than a hundred levels straight I have literally been brute-forcing my way through this godforsaken game by effectively banging my head repeatedly against the same boss battles over and over until I advance past the final arc and move on along to the next world, (usually massively over-leveled for the mobs by the time I get there 😅) …..And listen, I do appreciate and understand this is the exact opposite of how this game is designed and intended to be played. In my defense though, I made it all the way to this point *without* stooping to paying for crowns items, or buying minions, etc. I have just been playing the old-fashioned way for like ten years off and on, so at this point to be honest it’s a matter of principle to keep doing that forever because if I give in now, they will have #beaten me, and my pride will never recover. I’d have to start all over with a new wizard to restore my honor and I have been at this for FAR too long to abandon my beloved lvl 107 Necromancer now, so I simply shan’t. lmao. legitimately crazy? yes perhaps! luckily however since i’m a soloist, as we’ve covered, this deranged approach doesn’t have to be anybody’s problem but mine. lmfao! 

⁜ I also like to read, although unfortunately this hobby has taken a backseat now that I’m in school again… I have so much required reading generally that sitting down to read anything besides course materials makes me feel like a dog that just got caught getting into something it isn’t supposed to because I KNOW if I’m going to read anything it should REALLY be that chapter I haven’t finished yet/tried to read earlier but was half asleep at the time and definitely failed to fully absorb, etc. Everything is so very hard all the time, you see 😓😓

Aside from these items, I also enjoy: 

• cooking, baking, mixology, and wine tasting etc (all your classic pastimes that involve using your tastebuds and composing tasty treats for yourself and your loved ones)
• singing (sometimes accompanying myself with my clumsy piano and guitar skills :P) lol
• trivia! even though i’m Not Good at it 😭 Sporcle is my best friend and also my mortal enemy.
