Watching PB break down is fucking heartbreaking.

I know one of the major criticisms regarding her character in the original series is that she was too cold and uncaring, but I see that more of a character flaw than an example of bad writing.

She’s always been someone who put science and her kingdom above everything else, of course she’s going to be apathetic towards everyone.

But you do see her character develop as the series progresses. I mean, the fact that she spends this entire season trying to save Finn shows just how much she values their friendship. So when she does break down after she realizes that she almost ended up killing him, it hits that much harder from an emotional standpoint.
