Hi! I’m Butcher Larry and I enjoy all things fandom :) The current fandom that’s taken over my brain is Superbat, but I still get excited about past fandoms I’ve consumed content for (I’m looking at you, Hannibal). For the longest time I would lurk, like, and reblog on here, but I’ve stated posting more! Every Sunday, I post a fic rec list of what all I’ve read that week! Along with links to the fic, I have a little summary of the fic, as well as any major pairings or relationships.
The title of the blog is a quote from my baby brother (who is an adult man with a CAT - something he has also said). He was playing one of his video games and was looking for a weapon to use. I haven’t gotten it out of my head since and thought it would be funny to use for a blog run by someone called Butcher Larry, heehee.
I also love meat science, butchery, and agricultural topics (mostly livestock, mostly cattle). If you ask nicely, I may answer any questions you have about those topics too!
I have a second blog too, called balcony birds! I’ve gotten more seriously into birding, so I post all my bird stuff there. My bird pictures I take are posted there too! There are usually two pictures that I’ve taken posted a day (unless I’ve forgotten to restock my queue).
This is for people who read the pinned posts put on blogs, but if you send me an ask (anonymous or not) and ask for a picture, I’ll answer with one of the many pictures I have taken since I’ve gotten into photography and birding :)
