I'm so behind on this omg but I've had this specific idea for this prompt in mind for WEEKS so I wanted to do this one at least. Kenji telling ghost stories...about Ghost... Yaz is impressed by his storytelling and Ben is just dead lmao

even season 1 had potential, but nope. It’s gone, it’s so over and that’s not even me being dramatic. I shipped Benrius before I even know what Benrius was, and I thought that if they could make yasammy a thing, why couldn’t Ben and Darius be together? I know their characters drastically changed in chaos theory, but man do I wish they didn’t scrap the connection they spent the entirety of camp Cretaceous building up just to make space for more ships.
And don’t get me wrong either, I’m probably one of the biggest Dinostar shippers ever, but as a multi-shipper, I would’ve been pretty satisfied if Benrius did happen. Same goes with Bengia, I love them so much and they are a very underrated couple, but I just never saw it coming. I don’t ship Benji as much, but it’s still a cute ship that also had potential (and could’ve prevented Kenlynn from happening..). Just saying, I was disappointed with how they handled Ben and Darius’s bond in chaos theory.
Sadly that's true, it wouldn't make sense If they entered into a relationship now, since since the first 3 seasons it has been noted that they do not feel as attached to each other as they did in CC. Right, Season 1 they spent almost the whole time together , but it's not in the sense that they don't care about each other anymore, but in the sense that they now have more important things to deal with and care about other than their friendship. They still feel affection and concern for each other, but not as much as they did before, and I feel that, since the 3 seasons they spent, almost, "avoiding" each other, it wouldn't make much sense for them to get into a full relationship in the final season.
(And detail, it wouldn't be right for them to propose now, after all, the whole group knows about Ben's relationship with Gina)
