A powerful storm will hit the Gaza Strip tonight, and the media is warning of floods, flash floods, and a sharp drop in temperatures. Thousands of families are homeless, and our tattered tents offer no protection from the cold or the rain. We are living through challenges that are beyond human endurance.

We are currently living in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the rain or the cold. All our blankets are soaked because rainwater has leaked inside our tent, and what's also frightening is that our tent could be blown away at any moment by the strong winds.
