okay the thing is there ARE actually a fair number of movies and shows and books out there with canon queer characters and relationships, but it does drive me mildly nuts when people are like 'lolllll why are you accepting scraps when there's canon queer rep in [show with a completely different setting, genre, and tone]'. like, i'm sorry, but canon queer rep is not usually the ONLY factor people care about.

Daily reminder that Will Byers is a victim and probably would not like things in his mouth- and it would probably draw him out of an intimate moment very quickly. I think it would be cool to see more people explore that in their fan-fictions instead of “Mike slipped him the tongue and they both groaned” or some shit.

I wanna talk about all the tiny details i put into this. That mug is the same mug on the coffee table in the Crazy together scene. Those are actual chemistry notes i pulled off google, written in incredibly sloppy cursive. Theres a chaperone application flier under those textbooks for the SnowBall. In my head, Will is in this art-phase of drawing pretty boys shirtless and calling it an anatomy study. We’ve all done it. And you can zoom in to see if you can spot any more cool details!

Edit: I know i should let this go but again, im really sorry this rubbed some people the wrong way. I wasn’t ever trying to imply that Will would be entirely opposed to intimacy and things like that. I just think he might not like stuff being shoved in his mouth, and I think him being comfortable to tell Mike that would be great. I wasn’t ever trying to imply that his relationship with intimacy is damaged beyond repair and he hates all things relating to the subject. I just think sometimes people don’t like reminders of trauma, and it takes time to trust people with our bodies after they’ve been taken advantage of
